I think it's way more astounding that you have only played 5 6A teams in your history. Cathedral plays 5 a year! I guess with conference commitments it checks out, but thought NP would go out and chase it a bit more.

The rest of the story is this:: Cathedral D and special teams dominated. 2 blocked field goals and 3 strip sack fumbles. CG air horn loser press box guy tried his hardest to influence the corn fed south side lads, but he could hardly find a reason. 18-0 well into Q4. Harden, Knowles and D crew made it pretty easy. I left up three scores in the 4th. Brownsburg beats CG by 3 tuddies if it ever happens in 6A. Also, Van Krisiloff fecks. Field position plus D equals success. We coming for the other south side school one day soon... #barth

I'll take North Central to play Brownsburg in the Regional. They should give LN and LC all they can handle. NC is Top 6 in 6A next year. Heard it here first. Two years they'll contend for 6A. Even with the idiotic Washington Township 2.0 rule.

Doesn't account for the new IHSAA transfer portal either. Some big names heading to new schools will shake things up more than normal.

North Central

CHS starting center going down caused massive interruptions in the offense. And obviously the bot he'd snap/fumble up 14-0 on the CHS 10 w 1:43 in the 1st half brought WC back in the game. A 14-0 halftime vs 14-7 was a big deal. We have depth at WR and RB still, but line injuries are no bueno. Cathedral's biggest struggle in 6A is we just don't have the numbers of the 6A, especially w linemen. 500 boys vs 2000+ boys in a 6A is a major equalizer for the Irish.

Well, 6A looks wide open for a hot team right now, that's for sure. Cathedral is staring down a path to the Luke that goes through #1, #2, #6/7 in your rankings in consecutive weeks before the big game. I think they have a shot, but a gross draw.

Then feel free to expand. You don't suspend the winningest coach in Indiana football history for recruiting violations. Irish Frosh 39 Trojans 28 Irish. Irish Up 33-7 at half and gave up 3 tuddies in the 3Q/4Q with the 2s and 3s. Irish frosh are good. Was surprised how lopsided the varsity game was last night. Could have been 42-0 at half sans Bonds.

One could argue that IU played a high school team last Friday night. I'm not convinced one of Indiana high school's finest couldn't compete with Western Illinois. They were awful.

Take your medicine and send your kid to Cathedral. You can justify Westfield's futility all you want. It's just like Chatard. Play in the wimpy north of 6A and feel good about your program for the season until the tourney. #JVAllstars in the meantime, we'll play two classes up and deal with it. Prob beat all the 5000 enrollment teams when it counts and grab 6A drip. And you'll still be whining about fairness.

No one cares about California. I'd rather hear a news story out of North Korea or Russia.
