  6. Yes, we will basically be taking the word of the player -- but I believe that is the way the news is confirmed by most other sources...
  7. The Gridion Digest is going to try to start tracking DI football commits/national letters of intent and offers. If you know of any players with BCS/FCS offers, please provide them with a link to an official source such as the player/coach's Twitter, trusted recruiting sites, and other media reportage. We want this to be as reliable as possible. TGD staff will upgrade the top post when we obtain confirmed offers/accepts either via this thread or our own research. Thanks for your help! Also, it would be great to include some of the basic bio, ex.) 8. Joey Chestnut ate pounds of popcorn on Victory Field halfway to the mound prior to the game... the staff vacuumed off the popcorn then hosed the natural turf prior to first pitch. I just assumed the field turf could be cleaned.
  9. Or when the Titans grace your turf and cast holy water onto thy field?
  10. How often to artificial fields get sprayed with water/a cleaning solvent to clean fluids and other dirt?
  11. Where are you going this weekend? Post your scores and updates here or on Twitter.com/gridirondigest
  12. You could do radio testimonies for the product! A+
  13. Was Ben Davis healthy at the scrimmage? I thought a young Westfield looked better than Carmel and Ben Davis. None of the teams had that great 6A Indy size across the board. Run games kept in check and Cover 1 and 0 allowed all the DBs to show they were solid not getting beat by straight go routes. Chatard is the best team I've seen in person this far. Small sample and early but let's see.
  14. You can get the posts in which you publicly posted on this forum in other pick 'ems or discussions. Barring any feedback from other participants, I can make Week 2 picks worth (x2). Makeup picks won't be accepted moving forward less in cases of documented or communicated emergency.
  15. I specifically meant the public 6A schools. I have seen Ben Davis, Westfield, Carmel, West Lafayette, Lafayette Harrison, Brebeuf, and Chatard. Chatard is 1, Westfield 2, while Brebeuf, Carmel, West Lafayette and Ben Davis looked very close competitively. Hopefully they aren't down because I want to see Cathedral and Center Grove face the best in-state this season.
  16. Maybe. But are the powerhouses of Indy as good this season as they have been?
  17. Might be the wrong week for Carmel comparisons.
  18. Who will be our first resident 8 on 8 resident? @DK_Barons will you be adding 8-man | BH Christian as a selectable soon? I love this is the one game where you could get away with "BH Christian plays game" in a headline without an editor getting on you! (sorry journalism humor)
  19. Was hoping for Top 25 Temptations. I hate settling. @temptation Was BD all strength during the scrimmage? You can definitely see the size in 6A, but I wasn't that impressed with any of the participants that evening.
  20. If the Titans run the regular season, it would be difficult to explain why they aren't No. 1. If Week 1 was Gibson Southern's base, then they have lots to look to this season. Then the conversation turns to Chatard...

  22. Westfield didn't see the discipline that New Pal has at the Jamboree. Ben Davis and Carmel had "dawgs" but what New Pal lacks in talent, they usually make up with in consistency. This game might look different if in October. Best of luck to both teams moving forward this season!
  23. Keep the info sharing going!
