All three of my class's losses were to Chatard in semistate 15-0, 14-1 x 3 = 57-3 (undefeated as frosh and two years of JV). So you are preaching to the choir, but I wouldn't trade a red ring for a loss in semistate because I've always been an advocate for: Sectionals: Coaches seed all the teams, Sagarin used to break ties Regionals: Reseed based on Sagarin within the semistate (1-8) Semistate: Neutral field. Reseed the remaining four teams based on Sagarin. Just my take. It's blue ring or bust from here on out...Like the NCAA Basketball Final Four. There was never any mystique that Chatard was unbeatable especially after 2004 and the winner of the Danville - HH game shouldn't believe so either.

Finally. These teams were on collision courses for years but Chatard was in the way. Excited to play a tradition rich school like Danville.

Heritage Hills sounded like the more physical and better conditioned team. 8-9 in the box and HH picked up more YPC as the game went on. Great HH line play Why are Lawrenceburg'special teams so bad? OOB kickoffs, no punting, no punt receiving and they allow a 2 pt conversion on a botched HH snap? Hope the QB is OK. Sounds like he still has a few years left and could be a major threat if he puts some weight on. And finally the Danville-HH game that Chatard had blocked for so many years. It'll be great to see two tradition rich public HSs square off. HH had a few things to clean up like holding and ineligibles down field which will get you beat from here on. Celebrate and rest today. Would love to see this at the Bowl if the tables were turned, but I'm sure Coach Goebel will make no excuses while talking to the media and praise his opponent. The IHSAA is so concerned about out of state travel, but doesn't seem to care too much about tournament travel especially involving P/P schools.

The population of Morgan County is tricky given 40,000 or so are students. Then the county line is so close to Greene and Brown counties, most of the growth I saw was on the west side close to the Greene County line along I-69/SR-37. My observation visiting last year. I think eventually Southside Indy sprawl will reach Martinsville and then Bloomington. (Yes I know the sprawl comments were in jest)

When Andrean was in 3A were they playing with a 1A or 2A enrollment? Sorry to sidetrack the thread... How many points would Memorial now need to be 5A now? Such a shame they are now disconnected with teams like Gibson Southern and Heritage Hills.

I believe this is the furthest south Mount Vernon has ever been. In 2003 they played at HH in Week 1. TA was a line coach. I believe they came on a Friday.
