Anyone know much about what Bloomington South is bringing back? I would think they could make some noise with the McCullough brothers joining their roster (2 top 100 players in the nation for the respective classes) if they have any sort of talent surrounding them.

Dark Horse- Derek Moyers (Old Pike HC) who has been Plainfield's OC and QB coach the past few seasons.

How many repeat champs will we have next year? I think 6A and 5A are almost a sure bet. 4A very likely. Interested to see what everyone's thoughts are.

When will the All State teams by class be posted?

Big matchup with the winner punching their ticket to LOS. I think the winner of this is the eventual state champ. Who do you like? Roncalli is playing the best football in class 4A currently, but it's hard to count out Gillin. I think Roncalli has the edge in this one. Hopefully I am wrong. Roncalli 28-24

It means have a better shot of beating Mooresville. The more athletic and overall talented team will have a better shot.

2 senior O Lineman are committed to Purdue. Their QB who is a sophomore is almost a sure fire D1 kid at 6'2 210. Not sure beyond that.

I think if the SIAC wants to be represented well and have a better shot of advancing through the playoffs Central needs to win this one, which I believe they do. Central is rolling right now. Central 35-21

Mooresville has 2 OL who are committed to play at Purdue and the rest of their line is fairly large (not 100% sure but would be willing to say they average around 6'2 280 for their OL). Their QB is a sophomore but a very good athlete (also is 6'2 210). I think they are going to give any team they face this season troubles and are going to be a tough out. Hoping to see Gillin make the run to Thanksgiving weekend and to see the Mid-State represented well!

31-8 on my picks for the year. 3 way tie for conference champions between DC, Whiteland, and Mooresville. Greenwood (4-4) @ Whiteland (7-1)- Surprising big win for Greenwood last week over Franklin. Don't think they'll have enough fire power to hang with Whiteland. Whiteland 35-14 Plainfield (4-4) @ Martinsville (3-5)- Plainfield 35-21 DC (6-2) @ Franklin (3-5)- DC too much to handle. 42-14 Perry (0-8) @ Mooresville (7-1)- Mooresville 56-7 Looking at sectionals it appears Whiteland and Mooresville will be the 2 teams with a possibility of making a run in the tourney. Both Plainfield and DC are stuck in Cathedral's sectional with little hope of making it out. Whiteland is the Sagarin favorite to make it out of sectional 14 though it won't be easy with New Pal looming. Then they would get Cathedral in regionals. Mooresville will get to host East Central week 2 of sectionals giving them the edge. IF they can make it past EC they will have a tough regional vs most likely Jasper or Evansville Central and then a semi-state matchup vs either Roncalli or Mt. Vernon. All speculation. Guess that's why we don't determine a winner until it's played out on Friday night. Would love to see Mooresville and Coach Gillin represent the Mid-State at LOS on Thanksgiving weekend.
