Prime Rib Monday, Taco Tuesday, and Fish Fry Friday. Duh

Ahh, makes sense.

In contrast  I hear Frankfort High School's weekly menu goes something like this:

Mon:   Gruel,  hardtack,  weak tea.

Tues: Pizzaburger,  green beans,  weak lemonade.

Wed. Beans, cornbread,  water.

Thurs:  Liver, onions, donated fruitcake, cool-aid.

Fri:  Chef's roadkill surprise.

Cathedral had a wonderful fish sandwich on Friday during the Lenten months. Was probably caught and served out of Fall Creek same day. 😝

Sounds like they should be investigated for how they are allotting their Federal dollars.

I know. There should be a lot more tacos, burritos, and quesadillas on that menu.

They have a different cafe where they have coffee and snacks. It’s a mini Starbucks pretty much

Wow, fancy stuff for a government school.

They actually serve Starbucks brand coffee there?

Is it student ran?  I was taking off campus classes at the time but I know ISU set up a similar venture a few years ago but it was ran by the students as part of a business course.

Assistant Superintendent in charge of the cafeteria is out catching the sushi on the other five days.

Wow, CG can afford an Assistant Superintendent just to run the cafeteria?  Guess what I've read about the explosion in the numbers of administrative, non-teaching positions across all levels of education is true.

Why would that be?  Are you basing that on stereotype, race, or demographics?

I was hoping it wasn't based on Frankfort's demographics.

I don't believe such a menu would disappoint the Community Schools of Frankfort's demographics, do you?  I personally don't care for gruel....................
