The "U" is still acting the same as they have for years!  They whine and push and act like they should be given every call!  I hope the Hoosiers continue to control the game.

The defense has been rock solid in this one.

Discipline will be the difference. There were multiple moments when Miami players were arguing with each other, as well as chirping at IU players. Cignetti was right about missed calls. Definitely should have been a helmet to helmet call on that hit Mendoza took that cut his lower lip. Would love to see another long, physical drive to start the 2nd half.

Going into this game, I thought Indiana’s defense vs. Miami’s offense was a big mismatch in favor of the Hoosiers and the 1st half showed that. I think Indiana’s offense gets going in the 3rd quarter and opens this game up and the Hoosier defense continues to locking down Miami’s offense

Discipline is exactly what Tim Tebow mentioned when Pat and him did a quick interview before/very early in the game.

4th and 5, no problem!  What a gutsy call and what a gutsy run!  Charlie Becker with a couple of clutch catches!  The defense getting out of the prevent at the end and putting on the pass rush!  It was all good!

Maybe the Game Day folks will finally give some respect to the Hoosiers!  McAfee was the only game predictor to pick the Hoosiers.

The level of disrespect all year to the Hoosiers by some of the media was just astounding. Who the “experts” pick means nothing as to who wins the game, but all of the college game day crew except McAfee picked Miami. Ridiculous

Absolutely true. Kind of glad Desmond and Saban picked against the Hoosiers once again. Don’t need them on the bandwagon now. But they cannot refute 16-0. Their teams never accomplished that mark. And that burns Saban that one of his former guys bested him, thumping his old school along the way.

Shame on Coach Freeman for picking the "U!"

Guess he went with the team that beat his team for his pick. Perhaps he was trying to keep in solid graces with the ACC. He did look uncomfortable when asked to pick. He did say his heart was with Indiana.

I don't fault anyone for their picks before the game. IU wasn't the only team playing with a chip on their shoulder. Miami also had something to prove, and in the end, it's why those two programs were playing for the hardware. Football is a game of inches, and that game could have gone either direction. IU won the first half, Miami controlled the second half. The difference in the game was a blocked punt for a touchdown. I really do feel that the better team found a way to win, so I'm taking nothing away from the Hoosiers. I'm just defending they guys who picked a team that was playing with the furry of a hurricane. Miami proved last night that they are clearly the second best team in the country among those invited to the playoffs. I also think some of those guys were just trying to offer an alternate perspective considering most throughout the country were calling for an IU win, a potential blowout, and a heavy favorite in Las Vegas.

In the end, Indiana will be remembered, probably more so than any other championship team. And the movie they end up making out of it will ensure that no one forgets.
