I asked if it would have been sweeter had they gone through Notre Dame. No, why would it? There is not a rivalry with Notre Dame as they don’t play enough. When/if we beat Miami, this will go down as the greatest season in college football history 2 Quote
gonzoron Posted January 10 Posted January 10 Great job IU! Now let’s go win one for the Gipper against Miami! Quote

Of course they did!!! 42 minutes ago, Irishman said: IU vs. Miami 8 minutes to go in the semifinal. I feel pretty sure now IU has this lockedc up. On to Miami. Crazy to think the number 1 team plays at the home of the number 10 team. I really do not think it matters though. It might be close early, but Miami got beat up pretty good against Ole Miss. And their defense was gassed most of the 4th quarter. I think IU wins by at least 17 points. Trust me, there will be a lot more Indiana fans than Miami fans 1 Quote

Coach Nowlin Posted January 10 Posted January 10 Can you get OLD FAST with an Elite Voice leading the way? That was the blueprint for this incredible run that isn't going away (based on the other old guys they are buying this portal season too). I knew they were old, but I saw that their AVG age of the IU team vs some NFL teams.... MENS against BOYS all year and for 1 more, though Miami has 1 guy who has been in College year 6 or 7 and of course BECK the QB was Freshman when his fav WR was just 11 years old........ YUP Conagrast to COACH CIG. Guy I continue to study and consume his content 1 Quote

He will still be just 20 years old on draft day. Quote
Irishman Posted January 10 Posted January 10 Keep your eyes on number 7. He is the slot receiver to the left. The move he makes is just sick. The DB lines up inside to try and take that away, but bites HARD on the outside step. 2 Quote

I've only seen six games being rescheduled due to IU-Oregon, and all but one are in central or southern parts of the state where IU seems to have a much larger fan presence. Here in the Clinton county the North Putnam @ Frankfort contests, both Boys and Girls varsity games, will be played as planned. Updates were available during the Hamilton Heights/Northwestern game that wasn’t cancelled last night LOL Quote
Irishman Posted January 12 Posted January 12 I will take speed on defense as there is a point where an OL can be too big. I think we saw too in the Ole Miss game, they were wearing down as the game went on. 1 Quote

I'd love to see Izzo get one more title before he retires. I've never heard a bad word about the guy. One head coach personally told me that the difference in character between Izzo and Crean is night and day. Also heard good things about him from a local business person and a massive Notre Dame donor who knew him personally. 1 Quote
