Very few QBs in the NFL have ever or ever could make those.

The TD throw, while being hotly pursued, right on the sideline, into a window that was less than the width of the football, was insane.

Good Game, fought, culture change is real, as many many other Bears teams at halftime get blown out instead of throwing an INT on game tying drive.

CW18 got a bit greedy, looked like he had DJ on the intermediate and for sure could have thrown Swift or ran for 1st.... part of the learning process for the youngster

Winning in Philly softens the blow and then some.    Win this week and sit 10-4, with GB coming to town to go 11-4, followed by Loss more than likely at 49ers to be 11-5, then home game to clinch division 12-5 vs Lions or host wildcard game at 11-6

Boom

Good thing they won’t have to depend on a committee to get into the playoffs.

Perhaps this will force some sort of UNIFORMED scheduling in Professional Collegiate Football now

They are a year ahead of my personal schedule, I thought 9 to 10 wins was insight but LOTS had to go right, however LOTS has not when comes to injuries on Defense and some creeping up on O as well now.    Exciting times

Will be in house on Sunday brrrrrrrr

Coach!!!  You saw a nice W Sunday!  Give us a recap of the game.  Did you come back with all your fingers and toes?  Thaw out yet??  I was watching the game, hoping you were on the side of the stadium that had sunshine and not in the shade.

Just now thawed out !!!  🙂

Assuming you all saw this:

This was legit:     Beers would open and immediately explode:   Nice lady sold me a bottle of water and did NOT take off the lid for me as she was supposed to as if she did it would freeze immediately as well.  However clear grain with let's say, a red mix, perhaps, cranberry juice, would last about 7-9 mins before it became a slushy......challenge accepted, however at 2 for $53, YIKES but hey.......YOLO

Tailgate:   Had a tailgate package from Subway I won at a golf outing, hadn't used yet...so got that..  literally ICEBERG lettuce was a thing at the tailgate...  sandwich, and then [put the shredded lettuce on and it was biting into crunchy ice lettuce...literally.    I brought a fire pit and that helped a little, the SUN out was great, but I am on the Bears sideline 435 level so, SUN was gone by 2nd Q....... Then by 4 mins in 3rd... the finger tips and toe tips were screaming and our time had been worthy of Bears success and we bailed and got back to car and then back to my blanket at house by 4:20 pm and passed out shortly there after...... 🙂

Great times though.  Fun with my crew always.

Classic!!!

A smart fan.  The cost of food and drinks at NFL venues is exorbitant.  And all NFL stadiums no longer accept cash, which is frankly un-American.

An Indianapolis Star article on the subject: https://www.indystar.com/story/sports/2025/12/17/chicago-bears-moving-team-considering-northwest-indiana-for-stadium/87818743007/?tbref=hp

Quote

The Chicago Bears released an open letter to fans Wednesday night that said the franchise is considering Northwest Indiana as a location for a new stadium.

The team has been seeking tax breaks and nearly $900 million in public funding, according to media reports, to build a stadium in Cook County, the most recent target being Arlington Heights, a Chicago suburb. But Bears President and CFO Kevin Warren said in the letter the team is not receiving a "sense of urgency or appreciation to date" from the state.

"We have been told directly by state leadership our project will not be a priority in 2026," Warren said. “Consequently, in addition to Arlington Park, we need to expand our search and critically evaluate opportunities throughout the wider Chicagoland region, including Northwest Indiana.

“This is not about leverage. We spent years trying to build a new home in Cook County. ... Our fans deserve a world-class stadium. Our players and coaches deserve a venue that matches the championship standard they strive for every day. With that in mind, our organization must keep every credible pathway open to deliver that future."

Gov. JB Pritzker (D-IL) didn't hold back in his response Warren offering Indiana as an option for the Bears.

“Suggesting the Bears would move to Indiana is a startling slap in the face to all the beloved and loyal fans who have been rallying around the team during this strong season,” a Pritzker spokesman said in a statement to the Chicago Sun-Times. “The Governor’s a Bears fan who has always wanted them to stay in Chicago. He has also said that ultimately they are a private business that makes their own decisions, but the Governor has also been clear that the bottom line for any private business development should not come at the full expense of taxpayers.”

ndiana HB 1292 was signed April 30, which established the northwest Indiana professional sports development commission. It "authorizes the commission to prepare a comprehensive master plan for building the facilities and other infrastructure necessary for attracting and developing one or more professional sports franchises in northwest Indiana."

Gov. Mike Braun (R-IN) took to social media to weigh in:

"The Chicago Bears recognize Indiana’s pro-business climate, and I am ready to work with them to build a new stadium in Northwest Indiana," he wrote. "This move would deliver a major economic boost, create jobs, and bring another premier NFL franchise to the Hoosier State. Let’s get it done."

The "Gary Bears"  kind of just rolls off of tongue, doesn't it?

Would imagine they’d still call them the “Chicago” Bears, but wonder the location in NWI.  Just how far from Chicago they’d be.  The far NWI region is really pretty land-locked as is.

They would still be the Chicago Bears

No matter their location

Just like New York Jets in the New York Giants play in New Jersey

This is nothing more than standard political theater

However, leave it to Illinois the messed this up

I have the opinion that the Chicago Bears should purchase St. Joseph's College here in beautiful Rensselaer, Indiana.   Go back to their roots of their old training camp.    Buy the entire campus

Just like Green Bay and lambeau Field. The Bears. Build cute. Little cozy home on a parcel land that would be beneficial for all evolved
