Matchups my friend all about the matchups each week.

Bears Secondary cannot cover Man to Man well on the Dig/IN and the Crossers and Backs out of Backfield, things that DETROIT does EXCEPTIONALLY well.   And they played a bunch of MAN because some weeks our 4 man DL rush cannot get there, so DC Allen has to dial up bliztes to get home, (how many negative plays all 17 weeks did we see from Nickel Blitz from Kyler/ Brisker/ CJ Johnson ?     Problem doing that with a VET like GOFF and absolute WR MAN EATERS of St. Brown and Jamo Williams and Gibbs, can you can't get home, they will pick you apart.   Then the field shrunk and saw Bears D hold and keep to FGs.    But understand the sentiment:   Just know the Packers O is not the LIONS O, by scheme and personnel

I'll just back to living in the past and watching this, when football was football:

Madden and Summerall were the best NFL announcers ever, bar none.

Back in my day it was Pat and Tom Brookshier. And there is a great video on YouTube titled A Football Life Pat Summeral. Worth watching if you can bypass the commercials. 48 minutes.

For Coach Cignetti, the portal is like picking grapes from the vine!  You can't blame top players for wanting to play for him.

Not that I had ever thought about before now, but saw a post that made me think it did not sound right about the last time the Bears beat the Packers in the playoffs. I was shocked to find out they have only played twice.

4/4 from own 32 and went for it.  Don’t think I would’ve went for that at that point.  And after the Packers score, obviously they shouldn’t have.  Packers look good.  Bears need to wake up.

I know the Colts fans love Tyler Warren, and there were a lot of Bears fans who thought the Bears should have taken him instead of Colston Loveland. How does that draft pick look now? 8 catches for 137 yds. and a crucial 2 pt. try in his first playoff game. No rookie has ever done that before. Bears have the TE position locked down for the next several seasons.

Got to give credit where its due...been watching Loveland quite a bit recently.  He's darn good and has transitioned quickly from his college days.  Good for the Bears.  Maybe both teams did well drafting TE's in the first round...perhaps both win with those picks!

Things do look promising for Loveland having quite the QB throwing to him....they are making a nice combination on the field.

Good game for sure.  At the moment, I’m sure both teams are very happy with their TE choices.

No.  I saw him do what he was supposed to do as the #1 overall draft pick from 2024.  He was opportunistic for sure, as was his team.  But the Packers had a lot to do with letting the Bears stick around.

OK, Mr. Buzzkill, no mere mortal could have made that 4th & 8 play.

Admittedly, I am not a die hard Bears fan, nor a fan boy of anyone.  I was just responding to the question you asked.  Buzzkill?  Guilty as charged then, I guess.

A throw that I thought was incredible was also to ROME, but they never showed it again,   FREAKING LASER, below the Knee on the run bang, 1st down.

But YES, that 4th and 8.......   speechless
