Irishman Posted January 21, 2025 Posted January 21, 2025 A couple of coaching moves so far. Jason Rebrovich, the d line coach was fired. Tom Clements, the QB coach is retiring Hafley is still in the mix with head coaching interviews. As far as players go, I think Jaire Alexander are done in Green Bay. He has apparently wiped his social media of all Packers related content. I am ok with the move. He cannot stay healthy. The team usually does not go into free agency much, but posts are saying Tee Higgins is visiting Green Bay. Gotta be a PR type day up there with the arctic temps lol. Quote

Irishman Posted February 7, 2025 Author Posted February 7, 2025 I cannot love this enough. What makes it even better is hearing Shannon’s HOF acceptance speech. https://fb.watch/xBP470aeTz/? This is a great video too https://fb.watch/xBP9ZC-IoJ/? Quote
Irishman Posted February 7, 2025 Author Posted February 7, 2025 Longer video of the conversation between Shannon and Sterling. Quote
Irishman Posted March 15, 2025 Author Posted March 15, 2025 Really like that they signed McDuffie, Melton, and especially Wilson. Tough to see Myers go though. Quote
Irishman Posted June 9, 2025 Author Posted June 9, 2025 No win situation here. No chance the Packers were going to make Jaire the highest paid CB in the league. The restructured deal was about as good an offer as he was going to get. When healthy, there is no question he is one of the best, and definitely the best DB on the roster. No one was interested in a pre draft trade, and for what he will want in pay, I can't see another team picking him up. IF he does get picked up, it will likely be a deal less than what he would have made in Green Bay. https://www.nfl.com/news/jaire-alexander-packers-release-cornerback 1 Quote

PHJIrish Posted September 12, 2025 Posted September 12, 2025 Not good streaming reception on Prime tonight. Watched a bit but finally had to give up. Wanted to watch Terry McLaurin catch some footballs. Quote

Wanted to watch Terry McLaurin catch some footballs. He was not much of a factor. I saw him in person last time he was at Lambeau in 2021. He was a big factor in that game. Had a really nice TD catch in front of us. Quote
Irishman Posted September 12, 2025 Author Posted September 12, 2025 Dominating first half, but LaFleur has a couple of bad habits. He gets too pass happy. And he gets too greedy. In his time there, they have never been very good at the deep passing game. For whatever reason he loves to call for the deep ball on 3rd and medium or less. Those two habits allowed Washington to pull within 7 in the 4th quarter. Even McCarthy would call a game that allowed teams to get in the game and make it much closer than it should have been. Quote
Irishman Posted September 21, 2025 Author Posted September 21, 2025 Dog shit game plan on offense. The defense kept them in the game for the most part. But you cannot let opponets start drives inside the 10. And Love is too far along in his career to play like he did today; especially with this play. Quote
Coach Nowlin Posted September 22, 2025 Posted September 22, 2025 NFL. ROAD GAME. never easy I am sure the talking heads will give him a psss however...... Quote
Irishman Posted September 29, 2025 Author Posted September 29, 2025 Hard to figure out how a team can look so dominant for 2 games and so bad the other 2. Even in this game, the first 2 drives were impressive. It seems LaFleur cannot adjust to what teams do to stop them. On their drive in OT with the 4th down play, hitting Golden across the middle was huge. But they rarely run those routes....or at least Love rarely throws to them. But something is off. I knew going in this was a tougher game than anyone was saying. Quote
Coach Nowlin Posted September 29, 2025 Posted September 29, 2025 Every week is an indpendent of each other Road games in NFL are never gimmie NFL is purposefully set up this way year in and year out Who is available? What schemes are used vice versa each week as it pertains to each teams strength and weaknesses and list goes on and on Quote

Another average game by Green Bay. I really do not get LaFleur's obsession with running so many run and pass plays side to side. It's just not that effective in the NFL. Every defense has the speed to cover quickly. My seat was in the end zone, which I love to be able to see what teams are trying to do. Most of the game, Packers receivers struggled to get open or even creat any separation. And when they did, Love was not seeing them. Defensively, they struggled as well. Walker is NOT a middle linebacker. He is lost in coverage. He needs to be a pass rusher. Teams have figured out how to neutralize the pass rush by getting rid of the ball quickly. Glad they got the win, but it's a frustrating team to watch. Chase and Higgins are special players too. I did enjoy watching both of them play. Quote
Irishman Posted October 19, 2025 Author Posted October 19, 2025 Tough road win. Cardinals losses have been by a combined total of 13 points. wow Packers had a solid pass rush most of the game, but good lord receivers were wide open. Soooo many penalties that kept the defense on the field. Quote
Coach Nowlin Posted October 20, 2025 Posted October 20, 2025 Stupid Cardinals.... had them on the ropes.... GRRRR 1 Quote
Irishman Posted October 27, 2025 Author Posted October 27, 2025 Have to admit that I went to bed at halftime. the game was shaping up to be way too similar to the Dallas game. I was not going to lose sleep over another one of those. I was completely shocked when I woke up this morning to see the score. The stats from the 2nd half are pretty impressive. Kraft was playing well in the 1st half and appeared to continue that throughout the game. Quote
Irishman Posted November 2, 2025 Author Posted November 2, 2025 Penalties 1 out of 5 possessions in the red zone Predictable on offense? And ugly uniforms. Just a poor effort all around. Quote
