I take back my "New Pal" is a lock comment.

Cathedral defense looks great but penalties fumbles and blocked pats are killing the Trojans

Cathedral offense can hardly move the ball barring a big break earlier in the game

Qb has 3 fumbles for turnovers on the night

You picked a good one.

Bloomington South 34 Columbus North 24 (2:24, 3rd)

North scored on about a 30-yard pass play on a drive after taking a huge gamble on a 4th and 2 in their territory which they barely made.

The South Panthers are at the Bull Dog 19-yard line when the 4th starts.

Homestead 0

Carroll (fw) 49

Final

Dinan has them humming..next week will have Northrop for a share of the conference title... sounds about right this year. That wr from Carroll is a game changer

Carroll seems to be playing their best ball of the season. When I saw them against CG, I kept thinking, if this team gets better as the season goes along..........watch out.

Sparty stinks, been saying it all year. Carroll will truck Northrop next week and then get ready to be beaten handily come regionals…

You're really struggling to admit you were wrong about Carroll. They didn't look their best against Dwenger, but maybe the Saints are just that good. Their loss last week to Northrop was a colossal meltdown in the 4th quarter.

Bloomington South 55 Columbus North 24 (3:35, 4th)

After a pick by South that was run back deep into Bull Dog territory, Townsend scored his third rushing TD of the half on about a nine-yard run.

That they are the best team in a mediocre at best conference this year? No shot at a state title, win a very down sectional title, and get housed by Crown Point. Sure, sign me up.

As I continue to say to you, this year’s Carroll team is the worst Charger team in at least 5 years. Does that make them great? No

The subs played out the last three minutes of the game. This game looked like it might be a shootout with the Bull Dogs scoring two TDs in the 1st qtr as the Panthers were giving up too much cushion to the Bull Dog receivers, but once they tightened that up, the Panthers pretty much dominated the game on both sides of the ball.
