Coach Nowlin Posted October 30, 2025 Posted October 30, 2025 Shelbyville still in HHC? that would be rough for them Quote

I’ve seen those discussions but it sounded more like wishful thinking than anything credible, at least based on what I saw. Quote

It would make for a very good conference. Would love to see Cathedral in it as well. Quote

What do you believe will end up happening with HHC or schedules with HHC teams? Or in your opinion, what should end up happening? What is the most realistic? Quote

I heard there were reasons on CCC side on why Cathedral was never in conference. Not sure if Roncalli-Cathedral bad blood or if it was the smaller schools that did not play conference football. Wonder if that would be a factor for the other CCC teams moving. Quote
Playmaker Posted October 31, 2025 Posted October 31, 2025 Sucks to see Delta leave the HHC and go to the ECC. Hopefully they can get Yorktown to come along with them. Also hoping the circle city combines with the other HHC teams now that delta has left. Was definitely a conference that was a competitive conference and prepared teams for the post season. The ECC won’t do that for Delta now. They will definitely have to find some out of conference games to build up schedules. Quote

They're a little bigger than Delta (not much, but a little), but the HHC gives them a challenge in volleyball and they are competitive in a number of other sports (including football and softball). Their administration prefers playing teams that challenge them (and, again, with an elite volleyball program, they want to play top competition in that sport). Quote
