Well, “ahem”, I was attending a dinner party last night and not the Quarterback Club so I have nothing to offer (nor any knowledge of injuries) excepting cliches so….here we go:

”Next man up”

”It’s a team sport, there are eleven key players each fulfilling their role” (I made that one up)

”We shall endeavor to persevere” (Chief Dan George in “The Outlaw Josey Wales”….one of my favs)

You never want to take Bishop Chatard lightly no matter who's on the field.  This is a neighborhood battle and I expect that to be the case tonight also.

A side note, the last Irish game I missed before last week, and streamed, the Irish beat Center Grove last season.  Maybe it's best for me to be a keyboard jockey rather than a spectator.☺️

Will do!  I'm envious of the stadium that BC has built on their property.  I wish Cathedral had the room and the neighbors to do the same, but I guess the Irish will be playing wherever the bus stops for the foreseeable future.

The Cathedral/Bishop Chatard game was played for the KofC trophy.  I noticed it was not there last night, at least those on the visitor's side didn't see it.  What's up with that?  It was a very nice trophy.

BTW, Bishop Chatard won both JV and Freshman games today.  I can't remember the exact scores.

No issue with a kid wanting to transfer for a better opportunity. But there should be zero instance where you transfer mid-season and play for a new team in the same season. Nonsensical.
