Why does EC Central have 6 open weeks?

East Chicago Central canceled all athletic events for the rest of the month. This includes the first two football games against Hanover Central and Bowman Academy. If they had the same schedule this year as last year it would have included four games against the schools located in Hammond. Those four schools are not playing football this season.

The last time I checked, the Cardinals were members of the Great Lakes Athletics Conference.  Most members of that conference are located in Hammond, and of course they’re not playing this year.

Clay has week 3 open and EC does not

St Joe has week 1 open which EC does

the rest as of right now have 9 games

You are right it was West Side, not EC.

DT can officially add Clark and Gavit to his contraction list.

Make it 7. They just cancelled week 3 against Munster. 

The Mustangs will now play South Bend Clay as a replacement game at Munster. Good game for a couple struggling programs.
