coachkj
For the love of God please don't turn this into a discussion or rant for either side. (Wishful thinking that won't happen) Simple question, of your students and players placed in quarantine for contact tracing, exposure, or whatever you want to call it, how many actually came down with the virus? At Heritage Christian it was around 20 put on house arrest, and zero came down with the virus.
NE8Fan
From what I heard about my school, we had zero.
Muda69
No disrespect intended, but based on previous GID moderator decisions shouldn't this topic be moved to the OOB forum?

JustRules
If it stays to direct answers of the questions without opinion or conjecture I think this topic is fine so far. It definitely has the potential to go a different direction but hopefully it won't. The follow up question I have is if the students in quarantine were tested or just monitored for symptoms? It's entirely possible some of them would be positive if tested but remain asymptomatic.
oldtimeqb
At risk of presenting anecdotal stories as evidence, the players/students who have tested positive at my son’s school were exposed by a member of their household who is older than HS age. To my knowledge, no quarantined students have tested positive after being contact traced and required to stay home.

Now, if we start seeing Fauci memes, national stats, infection rates, etc., then yeah, it will be moved.
mykidssportsfan
No school related but we have had numerous employees have to self isolate due to symptoms or close contact and only one positive case since March. Also work in close contact.
