Center Grove holding at #13 in USA Super 25 Poll

CG inching closer to breaking into the National Top 10.  This should happen soon as several of the teams ahead of them have played fewer games and will likley take some losses.

Without a win over a national level opponent, Center Grove has no chance at winning the USA National Title, but a Top 5 finish would be a spectacular accomplishment for the Trojans.

Cathedral in at 25. Beat Elder and you’re potentially looking at a top 20 show down in 2 weeks.

They are deserving of the ranking. Dismantling LC was exactly what they were expected to do. Seven touchdowns in the first quarter is more than impressive.

When is last time Indiana had two teams nationally ranked, let alone play each other?  

Clearly the Oct 16th match-up will be a lot more meaningful and I no longer think either team will 'sit on their hands' with this much national exposure at stake.

Where did the 2015 CG team finish up at nationally? I know they were in the top 25. I believe in one of those polls they were around 10th. Can anybody fact check that? 

Would love to see those 2 teams face off.

This 2020 team is much more talented.  3 TD spread between the two teams.

The 2008 Center Grove team finished #13 per MaxPreps.

The 2015 team was #20.

Cathedral fans need to simmer the eff down. Elder is about to beat our asses. Two games to go for both programs. Elder has had 5 games to mature and barely lost to a ridiculously talented LaSalle team that we barely beat with their stud RB out of commission. 

If we can get through Friday, we can start talking about CGvCHS. Two Top25 Indiana teams playing in the finale would be special af.

When was the WC-Carmel state championship game decided at the end with a questionable TD catch? Was either school ranked and do you recall the year? It may have been pre-six class era.

2009 I believe. Shakir Bell and Co. Doubt either of those schools were nationally ranked as they both had multiple losses. Cathedral beat both Carmel and Warren to open the season that year and was flirting with a national ranking with their lone loss to St. X until they got their doors beaten off against Reitz.
