He has a brother now in 8th grade who will go next year to Hanover Central, a real up and coming program. Stay tuned.

Can you see lake central players going to Hanover to be part of better program in the future?

Will be interesting to see what happens with Hanover Central as more people continue to move in from Illinois side. Lake Central students have been going to Andrean for years, don't see that changing, but I can envision more going to Hanover. How about those folks also considering Buzea as well. Shame the largest school in the region is so bad in football and kids who could go to Lake Central to make it a better football school don't.

Hanover Central has a great young coach who has done a wonderful job there. But I think LC got a good guy with their hire, and I think that program will rebound.

Ha..sorry! Just thought about Auburn. Are they an option because he wants to also play baseball in college?

Yes, he wants to pursue both. I think it’s notre dame

There’s about a 15/20 minute driving radius where there are positive things happening within the football program; Crown Point, Hanover Central, Lowell, and Lake Central.

I looked up Hanover’s boundaries with LC, Crown Point, and Lowell. I didn’t realize a portion of St. John is in Hanover’s district. Is the southern  suburban push in Lake County projected to bump Hanover up to a 4A/5A school at some point?

Not sure who is advising him but he should transfer to merrillville, crown point, Indy 6a or IMG academy.

Why would he do that?  He already has all the exposure he needs at Andrean.  If anything he might just skip his senior year of highschol and go straight to college.

As long as Illinois remains a sh*t show, they’ll continue moving in to south Lake County.

ND it is.

Now we’ve just got to keep anyone from flipping him over the next year. Anyone know if he’s an early enrollee candidate?

bust Barajas and Aldridge

superstar Jeff Samardzjia

Hopefully Drayk Bowen and JoJo Johnson can make it 3/5 (JoJo is out for the season with an ACL)

I would assume, and yes I know what that means. But, due to baseball I would think he is not an early enrollee if he plans to do both.

With NIL available, why would him or any other top flight recruit stick around their entire senior year. Maybe he will because Andrean can win during his senior year in baseball, but he his family clearly are focused on him being a professional athlete, I see him being able to recoup some of the dollars spent traveling the country to get into a position to have a national TV special sooner rather than later.

Why would they have them go to separate high schools? Why wouldn't he just follow his bro and go to Andrean?

You’ll have to ask the family.
