East's linemen are small and young.

I watched some of their game with Seymour on Glicod. They didn't look that small. Maybe not their biggest of the last 20 years , but that's not a terrible OL at all. I imagine if they played North again, the margin would be much closer. Have to give Coach Vogel some credit.

North just got their best OL back.

Floyd Central played a bad game from what I heard. You have to give credit to East obviously. But when it's 4th and goal at 3 yard line and you throw a 95+ yard pick 6, you're gonna take your medicine. East was ready to play. FC wasn't. That's how it went I assume.

Same can be said for East when it’s 2nd and goal from the 5 and East fumbled the ball.

Yeah I’m not going that far. I appreciate your confidence but it would probably be 42-7 at best. North isn’t just on another level. They’re on three other levels.

North’s line is what makes them so good.. dominating on both sides.

Thats true. But FC scored the same amount of points on East as they did on a top 3 team in the State of Kentucky. They played like dogshit. Again, I give East credit. They were ready to play. But they aren't 20 points better than us.

Never said they were, just said the lines were too weak. East kids were tossing the Floyd kids around. I expected more from this Floyd team.

Does anyone know if the transfer from JC to CN ever get cleared to play?

also, @Fkfootball didn’t you say you guys had a transfer waiting to play or get eligible to play from Louisville?

I’ve heard from multiple sources that Jeff got some transfers from st. X and they were eligible immediately, can anyone confirm this? Is this why they had such a big turnaround this year?

I believe Elmore is who you are referring to from JC to CN and I think he is deemed ineligible for the entire season.  Not 100% sure. Mr Ratliff on here could probably let us know since his son is the current QB at CN.

Keep your eyes and ears open. On Wednesday, October 9, Greenwood will have a school board meeting and will discuss their future conference affiliation. If they decide to leave the Mid-State, and the Mid-State decides to fill Greenwood’s spot, that opens the door for more realignment. Bloomington North and Columbus East applied for membership a few years ago only for the eighth spot to be given to Perry Meridian. Would the two apply again? Should be interesting to see how it all goes down.

The DL is very inexperienced.

Yes. Jacobi Jones. Came here last year. Had to sit out 365 days. He played against East. Scored FCs first TD. He's a good RB.
