I wasn't able to attend the FC/NA game. But what a game for Luke Jacobi. Sebastian Robertson is one of the best RBs in the state and he's really done the heaving lifting all season. But it's nice to go into Sectionals with that 1-2 punch. Dangerous running game.

I want Floyd Central to do well in sectionals but I just don’t have a lot of confidence in them. They went 8-1 but they only beat two teams with winning records (Columbus East and BNL). Castle and Evansville North are much better opponents and are on a similar level with Whiteland, maybe slightly below. Regardless, it’s going to take a total team effort. I hope they’re up for it. I’ll be pulling for them.

Buddy. If Floyd Central doesn't fumble 3 times in the 1st qtr like they did against Whiteland, they'll have a chance to beat those teams. They weren't as good last year as they are this year and played right there with a way better Castle team last year. But they're not good enough to hand teams the ball at the 20 yd like like they did vs Whiteland.

And if a grown up was actually a grown up he wouldn’t attack a high school kid over an out of bounds call, buddy

Buddy, I wasn't talking to you. I didn't attack anyone. He was arguing with an official and I put my 2 cents in. Unlike a lot of people I have enough decency to call them and apologize. I got 0 blowback for that. I also have the plums to admit who it was on here because I really don't care what a moron like you thinks. Please just block me man. Thanks!

Week 10 Picks

BNL (6-3) at Jennings County (3-6): For the second year in a row, these two meet in sectional play. BNL beat JC 63-0 at home on 9/26. Jennings County gets them at home this time. However, the Stars will likely take out their frustration on the Panthers after last week’s upset loss at Columbus East. There will be a running clock in this one. BNL leads the all-time series 47-7 and has won the last 10. This is the fourth postseason game between these two teams. BNL has the 3-0 edge there.

5A #7/8 Whiteland (7-2) at Seymour (2-7): We have yet another running clock game. This is the third meeting between Whiteland and Seymour, and every game has taken place in the postseason. The home team is undefeated as Seymour scored a 44-41 win at home in 2001 and Whiteland crushed Seymour at home 66-0 in 2020. I expect Whiteland to crush Seymour again and pick up the first road win in the series.

I'd love to see the upsets, but just don't think it's gonna happen

For some reason I already had you marked down as having submitted your picks. Thank goodness you stayed on top of it. Sorry about that!

I saw where Castle is favored by 1 point. Thats the biggest toss up game of the week.

Yeah John Harrell has Castle as a one point favorite. However, if you use the predictor tool (which is based on Sagarin ratings) in one of the pinned threads, it has Floyd Central as a ten point favorite and a nine point favorite when factoring in Castle’s homefield advantage.
