FCs defense has adjust well but their offense is struggling.

Yes. Nice adjustment at the end of half.

now have to get Robertson going. EN d line is huge. #52 has a d1 build.

Correction. 10-9. Holder bobbled PAT.

Great atmosphere. The Fog sucked. Great adjustments after halftime switching to a Wildcat. Really enjoyed getting to congratulate coach Bragg at Midfield. Awesome. Awesome. Awesome.

Congrats on the win! You called a sectional title before the postseason began. I wasn’t a believer until I saw how they manhandled Castle. Best of luck next week at Bloomington South!

It wasn't easy. The Fog made it impossible to throw the ball. So both teams basically loaded the box. Coach B, the staff, all the players, they made just enough adjustments to get it done. Went to a Wildcat with Jackson Stone which hasn't been on film all season. He gashed them enough to get the final TD. It'll be interesting to see if he plays QB next year being one of the best athletes in this area. Great win. B-South will be tough,

Congrats on the sectional title. It will be a tough game for both teams at South. Once the South game was over with last night, I caught the last quarter of the FC/Huskies game and my eyeglasses couldn't filter through all of the fog and it was tough trying to make out what was going on out on the field. Looking forward to the regional matchup.

I might add that this will be just the second time South and FC have played each other, with South beating FC in the regional back in 2019, 40-14. I don't think we will get a game with that kind of margin this go-around.

Got to add Fishers last night to my list of stadiums I’ve experienced a game at. My brother-in-law had been pleading for me to attend a home game for the last few years. Witnessed them lose in the 2023 sectional championship at HSE before witnessing them lose in an upset at Franklin Central during the regular season last year. Closer game than most expected last night and Fishers took the lead with six minutes left to win. Glad they came through. Otherwise, my brother-in-law probably wouldn’t let me come to another game. Would’ve been 0-3.

Any time HSE loses, the sun shines just a little brighter the next day.

Who beat them I.O?

Yeah FC is better than that team was. Also Wenkers Wright couldn't do much because of an ankle injury. Definitely gonna be an uphill battle playing up there but hopefully FC can come up with something.

Floyd Central wins! Sectional Champions! Only 1 poster on here picked against them!

Assuming this is a swipe at me, since I’ve picked against FC the last two weeks. That being said you may or may not have noticed, I really haven’t a clue that two weeks ago I was down a few in the pick em game, if I have ANY chance of making a comeback I had to pick against the people who were ahead of me. So perhaps there was some game strategy involved in my decision to “pick against them”.
I have no vested interest in the outcome of ANY of these games and frankly aside from CE, NO ONE from the HHC, including your beloved Highlanders, have historically proved they could do jack shit in the tournament. Maybe this is FC’s year, I have no idea, I think I’ve been pretty open and honest that I’m probably the worst HS Football prognosticator alive. Congrats on “your” sectional trophy, enjoy it.

I was just messing with you buddy. Trust me, I didn't take that personally.

When you've played for Floyd Central, like 9 of my other relatives have, then yes it means something.

Week 13 Schedule

5A #7/9 Floyd Central (10-1) at 5A #3/4 Bloomington South (10-1)

@boilerfan87 @gonzoron @LC_Bears_04

You three should go ahead and add a score prediction in the event the tiebreaker needs to be used this week.

Floyd Central

I might be alone on this hill, but I'm gonna stick with my boys. They should come into this as an underdog, but you only have to be the better team "that night."

Week 13 Pick

5A #7/9 Floyd Central (10-1) at 5A #3/4 Bloomington South (10-1): I’m basing this pick on who the better team is at their peak. If the Panthers play disciplined and don’t have silly penalties or turnovers then they’re winning this game easily. However, if they mess around and play stupid then they could be in trouble because this isn’t a Highlanders team to take lightly like previous years. Bloomington South has yet to play a great postseason game this year but they’re due after surviving a couple scares the last two weeks. I say they win this one by 2-3 touchdowns.
