I underestimated the buzz around this Mt. Carmel game.  There are so many ties between the communities that EVERYONE is talking about this.  Gonna be a really good gate for Mt. Carmel.

Do you know anything about Mt. Carmel? How many starters do they return? Key players? I didn't keep up with them last year and I don't remember how their season went... TIA

9-2 last season and they think this team is better...maybe the best team they have had in some time.

Thats a nice two hand dunk on his hudl page, taking nothing away from the young man but doubt he is any faster than what they saw last Saturday. If they are better than last year it could be a real good game!

If a couple of area schools make the move everyone will fall like dominos.  Nobody wants to be first....but also nobody wants to be the one who didn't make the change in the even something bad happens.

I don't disagree.  We can't overlook a single game.  The game is not a conference game, in that sense it isn't "big" but we need every win.

Is playing in the middle of the day better than playing at 8 at night?  Temp will be the same, at least the sun is down.

A buddy of mind coaches at Oakridge in the Orlando area. I asked him when the heat index gets up to 114 (which is rare there as well), what do they do. He said they go inside.

And now Mt. Vernon @ South Spencer has moved to Saturday at 7pm. Seems odd they would wait until the middle of gameday. Another outlier or will more games choose to follow? I just figured at this point everybody would be trying to play tonight.

The app I use is showing the index below 105 by 7:00 and below 100 by 8:00, which means they should be good to play.
