Daniel_Bragg Posted July 16, 2024 Posted July 16, 2024 Sheridan turf is finally going down. I didn't originally like the idea of the black end zone, but seeing it in-person looks NICE! Can't wait to see it with branding on the field. Quote

On that note, they're doing a lot of improvements to the school itself. I still need to do that, but I don't think it will be ready in a month, nor does Mrs. Gipper. The Gipperette? She just wants a new natatorium... Quote

I love they named it after Coach Ralston. Any chance he might be there for a dedication or anything, I’d love to be there if I can. Quote
Lions 55 Posted July 23, 2024 Posted July 23, 2024 There is supposed to be a public dedication on Friday August 9th. I don’t know what time. As soon as I hear I will try to make sure to post it on here. 1 Quote

If I get it I will post if you haven’t. A lot of memories with Coach Ralston, some pretty good ass chewing among them. Jim was just a pro and an intense competitor. 1 Quote
Gipper Posted July 24, 2024 Posted July 24, 2024 An update on Lowell: the first three games of the season will all be on the road what do you think that means? Quote

The whole schools is a mess: lots of construction equipment around and a messed-up parking lot which was very small already. Quote
Daniel_Bragg Posted August 2, 2024 Posted August 2, 2024 Sheridan's turf is officially done. School Corp put out a short video highlighting it earlier today. Quote
AW0352 Posted August 4, 2024 Posted August 4, 2024 Boonville is laying their turf now. Castle has almost all the prep work done and will be laying theirs down soon. 1 Quote

AW0352 Posted August 7, 2024 Posted August 7, 2024 Hearing that Boonville’s field is getting finished during the night tonight then that company is starting on Castle’s soon. They are using ground up coconut husks instead of black rubber pellets. 2 Quote

Castle usually hosts the scrimmage with Memorial. If the crew starts tomorrow, I bet they'll be playing on it next Friday. It is pretty wild how quickly they can get them installed. Quote

Lots of footing issues, have a mix this year of pellets and coconut husks. Quote
