Why Is The Colts' Offense So Inept?

Recommended Posts

While I think its more about the GM's failing than I do the coach's, that is an interesting question.  Lots of speculation about Harbaugh coming home and being reunited with Luck....thoughts?

I think he's going to ride the Michigan job as far as he can. He wants to be known as the guy who brought the Maize & Blue back to greatness. Not saying he's never going back to the pros. But I think he's in Ann Arbor for at least 4 years. Probably 5.

After seeing Luck almost get his head torn off I am now convinced it is a misuse of personnel.  They have the rookie in to block while Gore the veteran and one of the best blocking backs in the game is on the sideline.  Kid misses the block and Luck almost got creamed.

I have been asking the question since week one. I don't understand it.

Colts benched both Gaurds and moved Mewhort back to LG. Thornton is and at RG and Reitz in at RT.

Well it wasn't pretty but it was a win.  Lowery played well.  I thought the d line played decent.

Anderson and Parry have been steals! Great future ahead it looks like with those two rooks and Langford. Also, how about Werner making some plays--especially on the 2 pt conversion at the end of the game

Word I have heard is that the front office Riff is because Grigson has forced Pep down Paguano throat, he doesn't want him as OC, but Grigson does....hence you see the product on the field.

Did Pep steal your bike as a kid, or give you a wedgie in junior high, or something? Man, you've got issues with him!

I think it's pretty safe to say Luck is hurt somewhere. Broken/bruised rib or shoulder or collarbone...something just isn't right with him and all reports are that he has shown signs of major pain and most of the front office thinks something is going on.

Just repeated what was told to me from an 'insider' perspective.

Yes Pep Hamilton is someone who I find does not do a good job to be an NFL coordinator or position coach.

Maybe I am too jaded from his Rex Grossman QB coach days in my beloved Bears franchise

I am baffled that he was a HC candidate last year.

You could argue Rex's days with the Bears were the pinnacle of his professional success.  Not sure Pep Hamilton was really the problem in that situation.

Yea, I would disagree with that assessment

I have heard the same from sports  media Coach.....Grigson hired Pep and that made Pagano an unhappy camper.

Confirmed: http://www.indystar.com/story/sports/nfl/colts/2015/09/30/indianapolis-colts-andrew-luck-injury-practice/73090580/

...

At Wednesday's press availability Chuck Pagano said Luck hurt his shoulder during Sunday's game. Asked if he thinks Luck will play against the Jaguars, Pagano said he's "day-to-day."
