  1. Past hour
  2. Congrats. You have had a coach that knows how to do his job since 1993. Corydon keeps hanging onto guys who can’t figure out how to film the games let alone the rest of it.
  3. Best I could do. I know there's a silver line in the middle of the thin red stripe on the crown of the helmet, but AI wasn't cooperating. Hope this is OK.
  4. Let's not forget that it was just 14-11 at halftime. There's not a team in Indiana that would want to face Center Grove at home coming off of a loss, especially when you have to drive 3 hours to get there. Carroll is good, but my "pump the brakes" comment last week was warranted.
  5. HSE beat North Central 30-14 last night.
  6. 1. Dwenger - Wins matter, and Dwenger got a big one last night. They destroyed St. Francis DeSales in the Glass Bowl in Toledo. The Saints keep marching on. 2. Carroll - Carroll took the three hour trip and went toe to toe with the Trojans in a game that was closer than the score indicated. At the end of the day, they still lost by 25 points. And........they're 0-1 vs Dwenger dating back to last season. So here they sit.............for now. 3. East Noble - They beat Snider on their opening night at Russ Isaacs Stadium. Sure, they were the recipients of several Snider miscues, but good teams are good at taking what's given to them. And the Knights are a good team. 4. Homestead - Easy choice here. Good looking win against Noblesville last night. Don't sleep on them Spartans. That was the easy part. This is where it gets messy. Wins matter at this point. 5. Eastside - Massive Jump in the rankings with a quality win over Adams Central. 6. Huntington North - Wins matter, and the Vikings wrapped up another one over Garrett. 7. Adams Central - Not going to pull the plug on them just yet. They lost to a really good team last night. 8. Columbia City - Lost by one point to a very good Northridge team last night. Not dropping this team from the Top 10. 9. Dekalb - 2-0 teams in NE Indiana are scarce, but the Barons are one of them. And both quality wins. 10. Bluffton - Outscored first two opponents 42-6. 10. Snider - After a sloppy first half, their domination of East Noble in the second half was eye opening last night. 11. North Side - Need to see more. Blowout win over New Haven isn't enough. 12. Northrop - Only lost by one to Warsaw. But really, how good is Warsaw? 13. Bishop Luers - Lost to two quality opponents. They're still dangerous. 14. Angola - Need to see more. Decent looking team so far. 15. Leo - Lots of football left. Chatard is a nightmare for anyone. First team out: South Side
  7. Did not see Center Grove putting it on Carroll like that . Is HSE that weak this year?
  8. Not sure why anyone would have that game as a blowout, as many posters did. Homestead is pretty good this year. The Spartans are in contention with East Noble as Northeast Indiana's third best team.
  9. Snider had a historically bad year last year and they should be better this year but may not be back to what they usually are. Word is they’re being negatively impacted by the open transfer rule. Northrop benefitted from it last year and North Side seems to have won the sweepstakes this year. Unfortunately for the Legends, it may not translate to success because they don’t usually have a competent coaching staff nor disciplined players.
  10. Today
  11. Speaking of penalties....I think North game Memorial somthing like 3 first downs on penalties during that second half scoring drive. North should have won that one on on that night.
  12. Good maybe when I move back to Indiana, I'll be able to afford a house in Hamilton County!
  13. Let's not sleep on North Posey. Their SOS is bad but they could be one of the better teams in the area, especially offensively.
  14. It happens occasionally, at which point Snider should win 5A but they don’t.
  15. While that’s true about the penalties, the Tigers’ run defense was exposed. Whipped up front all night long. Awful tackling. Outside of a couple of games against terrific East Central teams, I can’t remember the last time a Ben Johnson defense got beaten so bad. They did do a better job in the 2nd half, but they also had a lot of help from North TOs. Need to get Ellis back ASAP on offense.
  16. He's been a work in progress. But now I've got him as one of the top three coaches in the country. Cignetti the obvious #1. Kirby Smart the other? I'm just not sure who else I'd put above Freeman at this point. I think there are several coaches out there who can coach as well as he can, but his recruiting and likability is off the charts. And a big part of coaching is recruiting and likability. If you're not likeable, if you're not relatable to the players, you'll end up like Brian Kelly.
  17. I reached out to the Associated Press. The AP poll is being conducted this season. They will email me a copy of the polls moving forward.
  18. It's normal for an NFL player to take his helmet to the beach and run routes I guess.
  19. Only perfect record this week..y didnt u let us in on the Noblesville secret??
  20. How was Castle ranked #4 in the IFCA 5A poll last week. Floyd Central should jump to either #4 or #5 this week if anyone thinks at all. Crazy considering how FC stoped Castle in the Sectional then beat North then returned more starters than both of them and was ranked lower. Nuts....what did Castle do to deserve that ranking?
  21. Datum: So week 1 Whiteland (6A since we are facinated with enrollment) lost 7-14 to 6A #12 Columubs East. Then in week 2 Floyd Central running clocks Whiteland 37-0.
  22. The Sagarin needs more data to sort itself out. It has Fremont at #15 over all right now.
  23. Ended up being neither. Best Penn offense in a long time . The defense is where I might have some concerns . They have very good Linebackers, but the D line looks undersized . This won't be a problem until they run into 6A big boys in the post season .
  24. Brownstown 42 Charlestown 7 🤭
  25. Big game tonight between Evansville Reitz and Gibson Southern: Poll subject to change 1. Brownsburg 2. Westfield 3. Warren Central 4. Carmel 5. Center Grove 6. Lawrence North 7. Carroll 8. Avon 9. Ben Davis 10. Cathedral 11. Penn 12. Chatard 13. Crown Point 14. East Central 15. Dwenger 16. New Pal 17. Roncalli 18. Bloomington South 19. East Noble 20. Zionsville 21. Merrillville 22. Franklin Central 23. Lawrence Central 24. Hamilton Southeastern 25. Floyd Central First team out: Castle, Columbus North, Decatur Central, Evansville Reitz, Evansville Memorial, Evansville North, Heritage Hills
