Hoping Cathedral can win this one. Loyola is a likely a Top 5 8A team in Illinois this year. The Ramblers aren't short of top shelf talent either: 6'3 Jr TE with offers from a majority of the Top 25 6'4 Jr QB with some mid tier Big Ten offers 5'11 JR RB with offers from Auburn, BC, Colorado, Purdue, Kansas, Wisconsin, and Northwestern. 6'3 SR DL committed to North Dakota 6'1 SR LB committed to Boston College 6'6 SR TE commited to Boston College

I coached one more year after the second state championship then hung up my whistle… How many state rings do you have though? I wouldn’t bark louder than I can bite. - Yesterday

Who are you talking about? Also, I don’t give a crap where he’s coached. BNL isn’t beating Whiteland by 35 points. Get real. -
This guy seems like with far fewer rules than there ever were, he still finds ways to bend them. The Browns coach the other day even said Kiffin contacted him a couple weeks ago about Wright’s status. Willing to bet he was encouraging Monken to cut him asap.

A move that was LONG overdue.

Can You Afford To Take Your Family To An NFL Game?
Irishman replied to hhpatriot04's topic in The Next Level
I try to save up for one game a year. Last season it was Cincy at Green Bay. This year it will be Minnesota at Green Bay. Friends in Indy are season ticket holders for Green Bay. It’s always fun catching up with them. That said, it is a big investment. -
Texas was ahead of the curve on that one. I agree that it seems a number of schools dropped the ball on doing that. The issue that has arisen out of the conference networks is that they are tied to already existing networks. The B1G with Fox is not as big of deal as the ACC and SEC networks being tied to ESPN. We saw how those affiliations have played out. Overly inflated strength of schedule rankings along with actual rankings and finally with the playoff draw.

Take your kids to a pre-season game, they won't know the difference. Then spend the rest of your money supporting your local community. The best football is being played on Friday night anyway. Free parking, $7 tickets, leave and back home in three hours. -

Right. Not much of a flex when your team averages 3-7 over the past 22 years. -

Indiana Eight-Man Football 2026
wabashalwaysfights replied to hhpatriot04's topic in The Indiana High School Football Forum
I am not, but my point is that, in the hypothetical of Rossville, or any other community, pursuing the idea of a football program should have the opportunity to decide for themselves, under the "marketplace of ideas" theory, to make that decision for themselves without the input of you, me, the man on the moon or anyone else for that matter. I guess ultimately my thought is this: it seems like the battle lines are pretty clearly drawn, so what exactly os there left to discuss? I'm sure the coop proposal will come up again, likely next summer, but in the meantime there's actual football, 11 and 8 man, to discuss.
