For me, it feels so wrong to not be able to go to a game tonight.

IIRC, Cathedral had an exodus of players to North Central last year and the CYO talent that has become this years Sr class chose Chatard over Cathedral for football four years ago. Chatards freshman team back then was a juggernaut. Not sure if any of that matters four years later but that’s how I remember it happening.

Pretty sure this is the first opening night since I was probably in 2nd-3rd grade, I had older brothers playing, 53-54 years, that I haven’t been at a Football game. And believe it or not, I’m looking forward to sitting on my fat ass listening on the radio. Hey man sitting on the back deck with a bottle of Makers and a nice cigar ain’t all bad either.

Time to get the team bus loaded and get on the way. This is tonight's forgotten game as it's not streamed anywhere. Fans can listen on 1260AM radio though. This one should be a good one! The first game is always a crap shoot, and that's one reason I love the high school games! Hope to see a lot of Irish fans out here on the westside!
