As the season is upon us, I was interested in how your schools/team handle stat recording and publishing. We currently are using Hudl for film, manually record stats on Saturday morning on a publisher stat sheet and publish on Maxpreps. It’s very thorough but takes 2-3 hrs and done by someone not on staff or in school. Do you use a software on a computer at the game so they are live? Who is accountable for doing the stats? Asst coach, student, film crew, parent? Like I said, I’m interested in improving efficiency and am curious on how others do it. Ideally, I’d like our team’s process to mirror college football stats when you look up online. Thanks in advance for your ideas/thoughts.

From what I've noticed on the field, any sort of Wing-T that runs fluidly for 4 quarters and elite speed. You just can't get your practice squad to transform into something they're not.

What team has the hardest offense to prepare for and what makes it that way. Is it the coach or the players, or the scheme the use.

Giving props to the whole conference. I like it, and he ain’t wrong. Now teams need to step up.

I remember back in 07 when Coach King's offense could've rushed for 4000 yds also but Matt King was so good at throwing the ball they had to throw it too. Speaking of Coach King I went to his scrimmage the other night and the Bison looked dangerous. They put a pounding on both Faith Christian and Elwood. Times are changing in Benton County. Look for a BIG improvement from them this year.

Apparently the 7 on 7 "waxing" was a 1 score game. Hardly a waxing if you ask me. Sounds like RP can't catch. Which is understandle. MaxPreps had them for over 4000 yds rushing last year. A lot harder to drop a handoff than it is a pass.

Of course you would take that stance with zero facts to back up your statement. Expect nothing better from you. The other places you named have had multiple, proven incidents where charges were filed, not in this case though so it ruins your narrative

They may, but I fail to see what what has to do with obtaining a ticket to an extracurricular sporting event, which is now designated as "cashless" only.

This summer...nothing. Does Coach Tenderloin have the team everyone thinks he does? Or are we under some kind of Tenderloin Media Moratorium? 😂 I’m not sure the film matches the assessment you were text. The Panthers threw the ball 48 times all of last season. Unless Billy Bettis gets his way, I’m not sure 7v7 is something RP puts a lot of stock in. And btw, I’m not sure Coach Tenderloin has social media, an iPhone or knows what a Snaptweet is. The man may still carry a flip phone. He may still use Mapquest for the away games.

I wouldn't mind some variation in the middle, but I like having Jasper Wk.1 and Castle Wk.9. I doubt the schedules will ever change unless there is some significant change in the conference (adding / dropping a team). As is, the ADs don't have to do much except fill the open spot left by VL.

In reference to schedules… does it annoy anyone else that the schedule for SIAC vs SIAC teams never changes? Wish they would leave the rivalry week games the same, but rotate the rest. For example I wish Castle and North didn’t always play week 1.

Good interview with Coach Campbell on the Columbus East Athletic Department Facebook page. For a young guy, he’s very well spoken and seems very knowledgeable. Will it translate on the field? We’ll see. With the offense they’re running, I’m sure it’s going to take time.

I'm a little late to the party on this one. But it's another example of how the Indy Star and FW Journal Gazette push racism narrative any time they can. They are always one sided stories and rarely believable. Never mix politics with business, something the media still hasn't learned. The FW Journal Gazette has lost a massive number of subscribers. I'm sure the Indy Star is suffering the same fate.
