It's time for this site to go Pay Per View
Titan32 replied to 23andCounting's topic in The Indiana High School Football Forum
Folks are too lazy to go through the sign-up process. It's easier to say stupid Sh!t on facebook. -
If anyone is paying $6 a month to read my $hit, I want a percentage of the cut lol. I will stop having a school I'm affiliated with and will only post to the digest about my name, brand, and likeness. @Coach Nowlin I want to sign the first NIL deal the GridironDigest has ever signed. Let's make history!

Hoosier Hills Conference

Scrimmage schedule for tonight: Brownstown Central at BNL Columbus East at Whiteland Floyd Central at Charlestown Jeffersonville at Madison New Albany at Scottsburg Silver Creek at Seymour -
Anthony Richardson continues to be so inconsistent. He has all the tools but seems to be unable to put 'em all together! Maybe it's just the fact that, for various reasons, mostly injuries, he hasn't had much time on the field! Watching the Colts preseason game was not time well spent. Too many turnovers and not much flow, but as Allen Iverson once said, "it's just practice!" Lots of those who played last night will not be on the field during the regular season. Some of the defenders, however, were quite impressive. Not much to take, overall, from last night's scrimmage.

My debut in the stands will have to wait until next week at Ben Davis. Too much weather for this old fan to handle! It's been a brutal summer in fact.

Hoosier Hills Conference

Yes. Could be a good game (or JC could get smoked) because Jennings County isn’t good. The lack of talent and depth are very real issues for them. -

Was surprised to see Jennings County schedule Springs Valley. Now, don't get me wrong, Springs Valley is about as tough at they come for a 1A squad...but really?? -
He is our pyscho !!! Here is the Stadium Playbook still in my opinion: Bears pivoted to find the adjacent property to add the Course to the package as a viable add on that makes a lot of sense. From my seat.... Still one more Hurdle for Indiana folks to get the ink to paper and shovel in ground..... NOV 3, GOV ELECTION, Ole JB still has his ace up his sleeve.... Play tough guy for the money and votes..... wink at Bears, and once everyone gets their next names called on election night victory, then they will pivot and look like heroes.....and folks be mad for a moment and all will be forgotten.... counterpoint to that.... can Bears continue to watch cost rocket up without actually starting....

I wasn’t aware!

I've made similar observations about our enrollment for years, but there's no doubt that it is directly tied to population dynamics and specifically jobs. I haven't kept up on the job implications of Data Centers, but if it's anything like the wind farms in Benton and Warren counties, they aren't good. I would think Data Centers, regardless of whether one thinks they are a "boogeyman" or not, would offer better job prospects. -
Plus, add in the decline of masculinity as a factor. JMO, LOL??????

Predict a Matchup Tool

I'm waiting on Jeff Sagarin's 2026 rankings to update the Predictor. He usually has them out by now. I might have to email John Harrell to see what's up. -
Did you read or hear sound bites from Pompei's recent article? He spent an entire day with Johnson. Ben is a football psycho. And wants to score A LOT of points this year. I liked hearing that Ben ripped into Caleb and the rest of the offense in a meeting for having ONE crappy training camp practice.

LOL..I think you'll get your wish in the Fall when the Illinois legislature is back in session. Once again an update with no specific timetable of when and where the ceremanial shovel will be put into the ground. Here's another boondoggle to twis your panties: Hammond already spent $33M on developing an industrial slag waste site into an environmental and recreation site, which is where Lost Marsh Golf Course sits. Lost Marsh is one of Indiana's top public courses. It would be a shame to lose it if Hammond really is the choice.

Bloomington South has 85 players in grades 10 through 12 that attended the first official practice which is down just a hair from last season when they had 93 players in those grades, so they have had pretty consistent numbers over the years. -
Correct: that is my assessment as well. but maybe some industrial things come through our Corridor like it did for Lowell and Whitestown I know the big bad boogey man Data Center supposedly coming to Northern Jasper County, perhaps that increases families moving into our communities.

https://www.indystar.com/story/sports/nfl/2026/08/13/chicago-bears-update-new-stadium-plans-hammond-arlington-heights--live/91288540007/ Come on Illinois legislature, make the citizens you represent pay for this boondoggle and not Hoosiers.
