  1. Now, you’re playing chess... No kidding. Like most people on here, I love football. It should be played and enjoyed by all who desire to do so. Case closed.

  3. An a hole would be the guy who votes against extending unemployment benefits to those affected by the virus. I wonder if the perm will donate his paycheck while is not working. Somehow, I doubt it. Pointing out irony is not gloating. Get off your high horse and back on Rocinante.

  6. So much for my memory. I checked my records and the Lowell - Plymouth game that I’m talking about was 2009. That’s the game Grubbe ran the ball 37 times — every one of them between the tackles. The final was 14-6.

  8. I just go with the flow. I don't think contraction is needed. Kids want to represent their schools. Let the kids be kids.

  9. As a person who has taught in 3 different countries, my perspective is if you remove the government, the poor will suffer even more than they do now. I do think schools should be governed, but as locally as possible.

  10. 1990. Week 6. We (Pike Central) came from 14-0 down and beat Southridge 16-14. On a personal level fun for me because I'm from Southridge. That is the last time PC has beaten Southridge. Great night. Our players never quit and made the plays we had to make. We sealed the deal with an interception with 30 seconds left.

  11. I think when we did our bond...it raised property taxes on the average home $3.00 per year (or something close to that) until the bond matured...which it did early (I think) due to assessed values going up. I have slept a lot since then but those details are close enough to show....financially it was pretty easy for the community to swing.

  12. Sir, do you know the endzone camera situation at those two schools? It could go a long way to attract or repel potential suitors.

  16. lol, you truly believe that? Stop playing the victim card. What is stopping you from being one of those "few families"? Have you every stopped to think that maybe, just maybe, these "few families" had the desire, the work ethic, the idea to build businesses that allowed them accumulate that wealth? That, in fact, they earned most of it through blood, sweat, and tears? And what right do you have to demand they share their success with you and your ilk?

  18. Will you please share with us the source material(s) you used for your studies? So? I was raised with the mantra "The world's not fair. Get used to it. Make you own success." So the achievements and monetary success of someone like Bill Gates should be diminished because he was one of those who were in the right place at the right time? Or maybe he had the foresight and intelligence to see this little thing, in its infancy, called the "personal computer" was going to change the world? As for inheritance again so what? Shouldn't an individual get to choose to whom they give the money/resources that they own and control? What business is that of government? How so? Are you sure that these non-white entrepreneurs and businessmen will not just take their place among the "small families" that you so deride?
