I’ve talked to a few people in the “know” and all agree this is a solid hire. He’s coming into a lot better situation than he previously did. Coach O’Shea comes from a good line of coaches in his family and seems to be a good fit. When NP hired McKim his resume was less than impressive and it seemed to work out pretty well for him.

The town rumor mill is swirling around. Heard the new AD has a candidate in mind, but would need to create a position for him. The Superintendent is not keen on that idea. We shall see. Bremen has a good group of freshmen coming up that a lot of people are excited about. Unfortunately with the new transfer rules, making the right hire is more vital than ever, because the financial repercussions of a bad hire could see a migration by some to other schools.

Seems like an odd hire!! Resume doesn't seem strong enough for that position.... JMO Makes you wonder what interest level was like and quality of applicants.
