  3. Thanks for the clips. Pretty much the story of the night for Northrop. They needed several key 4th down conversions to pull this game out. Every time Snider had an opportunity to put the game away, Northrop pulled through on a 4th down it seems. Snider fought. On the surface, it looked like an ugly season for Snider. But the kids played hard and with passion. They'll be back.

  5. Not sure how Indiana isn't #1 n the first playoff ranking. Their side by side resume with Ohio State is a no contest.

  8. Indiana up 41-10 midway thru the 3rd quarter on Maryland. 3 IU td’s in about 4 minutes. As Ron Burgundy once said, boy that escalated quickly…

  9. Saban was a cheater for years at Alabama. The SEC is now dealing with a level playing field and they don’t like it. Saban is a big homer of the SEC as is ESPN since they are the home of the SEC

  10. Anyone notice how much BK looks to have aged in just 4 years in Baton Rouge? Looks like he aged 10 years .

  11. I agree completely. It’s a common theme this weekend in Louisiana and the sports world in general. Politicians need to stay out of things like this. I believe micromanaging is the term.

  12. I get that the governor has certain powers. But at what point do they stay in their lane? Sure, make a move to fire the president. Then the new president determines whether the AD stays or goes. Then the AD hires the coach. Isn't that how chain of command is suppose to work? Or am I confused? A governor making decisions regarding athletics is like our modern day fools (actrors/actresses) giving us advice on politics.

  20. Not sure exactly how other states operate, but it seems that IU has itself on this path now. With support from President Whitten, total oversight has been given to the Governor as of this last session at the Statehouse. Prior to that, the Governor was limited to just appointing a handful of people as Trsutees. Now he gets to appoint all of them, which means he also has more of a say in the day to day operations of the school. Kind of sounds like Louisiana has the same type of thing with LSU.

  23. I was thinking exactly the same about Noblesville under Sharpe. I know many seemed to hate it from the day he came on board and I remember some opposing fans making fun of it but Noblesville was legitimately competing more closely in games…despite the final W/L. Couldn’t agree more.

  24. From my experience, any coach who doesn't go 4-wide and run spread is despised by parents because they're "hurting my kid's college opportunities" ... unless he wins. And if he doesn't win (even if he gets his team to play above its level), those parents who want an NFL-style or air-raid offense will get the ear of administration.
