With New Pal likely headed for 6A due to success factor, will they try to schedule Warren, Ben Davis, or Carmel? Beating Center Grove the last two years is super impressive, so will New Pal try to take another step up and play one of the Mega schools?

Chatard will be cheering on the Patriots in this game because Chatard DEFINITELY does not want to have to play Danville again. Am I right @superjay !?!?

You don't need to send spies to practice to get game film. I think New Pal's schedule allows them to run some Cathedral stuff at their kids during practice throughout the season, while Cathedral had to focus on the next game. Did Ralph tell his team it was a Cathedral session? I don't know. But, what I do know, is the guy has lost 4 games in his career so he's no dummy.

I think Dwenger will move up to 6A at the next reclassification. Dwenger's Sectional isn't exactly murderer's row, and the Lafayette sectional teams are lackluster. So, I can see Dwenger winning the Semi-State and making the state title game the next two years and moving up

Was the SIAC down as a whole this year? Or was it much more even? It seems like there are always really good Evansville teams, so I'm surprised to see you say that Mooresville will be the best team you guys have played this year

This should be another great game. I was surprised to see Mooresville win over EC, but can you ever really count out Coach Gillin and crew!? I think the winner of this game will represent the South in LOS. I like Mooresville 23-21

The Warriors are still alive in 3A and play Vincennes Lincoln this Friday. Could either of these challenge Chatard this year? Danville out coached and out played Chatard in 2016 and dominated Chatard in 2017, but not sure this is the same Danville team based on their record and scores this year. I think Stink Town and HH could both give the Trojans a game in LOS

Could the Warsaw/Merrillville winner challenge the Carmel/Homestead winner?

Not so fast my friend!!! Probably the best matchup of the night. Chatard has struggled with teams in the playoffs who can spread them out. Both Danville teams and Evansville Memorial were able to air it out all over the place, as well as win the line of scrimmage defensively. Judging off the scores of WL games, I know they can score points and will air it out. However, can WL D-Line and LBs handle the Chatard running game? According to a few people WL struggles defensively and is predictable, but I believe they load the box and man up the Chatard WRs because everyone in the state knows that Taylor can beat you. So, can the Chatard QB and WRs win matchups against the WL secondary? I like this matchup for WL because I think they have the better athletes. I'm expecting a lot of points in this one, West Lafayette 40, Chatard 35

I like that pick. Decatur Central's Kenny Tracy has been electric this year, so will Cathedral be caught looking ahead to the New Pal matchup? I'm also going out on a limb and taking Northrop over Dwenger. It was a 9-7 game the first time these two teams met, so if Northrop can score 28 can they win the game?
