Random question here for Warren fans, Why was Warren wearing red socks and belts on Friday night against center grove?

Senior day should always be on the first night. Celebrate the seniors first with good weather, start of the year, best crowds, no upset parents, and not having to worry about the feel of the last games for seniors at the end. I love it. I could be wrong but I saw somewhere that Westfield will play New Pal and Lawrence central next year for their non conference.

Too bad Whiteland and LN just got cancelled. Was really interested in that one.

Let’s just make 40 classes of 8 teams each. That way it’s perfectly fair for every single team and nobody has to gripe or complain. Everybody is happy. Everybody gets a “fair shot.” Problem solved. No more talk about enrollments being too large or mega schools or metro areas in the state. Thread complete. Oh yeah and here is a plus, more state finals games to watch during thanksgiving 🙂

Technically you would still have a huge gap between the smallest in 6A to the largest. Is it really the same weight class then? Again, there will always be cut offs that will make others say it’s not fair. It’s just how it is.

Is Zionsville growing? I know they are pretty much a 6A school.

There is always going to be a reason to change or people to feel frustrated. It is never going to fully make everyone happy. 2,200 or 2,000 students does not make a difference in my opinion. I get your reasoning, but I just don’t think this will affect things all that much. No point to do this in my opinion. If this actually goes through, then you will have schools who argue and complain that they are in the bottom of 6A when Carmel, BD, Warren, and North Central all have massive enrollments. Should we just make a class of the top 8 schools because their enrollments are that much more? Absolutely not. You can’t make accommodations for everyone.

Also, still waiting to see where you think Columbus North falls into all of this.

Carmel it’s perfect. CG to Westfield or noblesville, or fishers/HSE. Those are some drives!! Carmel and CG are a long drive as is.

Again, if this is actually all true, the main factor is outside of football. It’s for all around athletics. I still believe conferences need to be considered on geographical standpoint but that’s not as common anymore.

Tech no way. You never know with the changing enrollments there. I would say Franklin Central fills the spot. The open 3 weeks like you said would be used for those teams and possibly an HCC school that has an open week. That would put the HCC at 9. 8 conference games and 1 non conference.

I agree. For CG it would make for some very very long drives on Friday nights. We also have to look at the other sports as well. Carmel and CG would probably enjoy a much more competitive conference in the other sports. Who knows though. I just can’t see this happening.

Sectional opponents have a huge impact on a program. Especially for a coach who just took over a program. It can make or break ya.

Takes a lot more than a big time recruit.
