  1. Is it just me or does that look exactly like Father Guido Sarduci?
  2. Well when you throw the ball one of three things can happen, and two of them are bad.
  3. I'm pretty sure they sponsor local youth teams, I'm familiar with the Crapo Agency.
  4. It definitely changes the way you watch a game. Even watching a game on TV, I often find myself counting offensive players in the huddle, looking for subs coming in, and once the line up looking at the formation to make sure they're legal, checking numbers positions, etc. The superstar.....sadly unless he's the QB, the LG, or one of the defensive rushers, I probably won't see much of him. I often here the BJ or wing talk about these spectacular plays down field, and I never see them. In fact many times I don't know whether the ball is dropped or caught. You have your keys, then your area of responsibility, and that's your sole focus.
  5. From what I've seen of the film we missed an illegal formation on one play.
  6. We see a wide variety of conferences from little to big. I honestly can't remember any specifics, I just know we're seeing more and more of the. FWIW, back when the Colts played at the RCA Dome, they had 5 buck tickets upstairs in the EZ. At the time we had season tickets about the GL on the home side on the east end. Upstairs EZ was hands down my favorite place to watch.
  7. We see more and more of them. As far as specific schools, I really don't remember. I have always LOVED the EZ view, I love it when schools include the EZ view when they share with us on Hudl. We had a film last year that was cut up with Side long, side tight, and EZ, so each play played three times, one with each view. I love it. Takes a little longer to get thru, but so much more to see.
  8. If he QB tells me he's taking a knee, I always tell him not to mess around, go down.
  9. I beg to differ, you are accusing them of cheating per the rules of the scrimmage. And I wasn’t there, but I would be willing to bet FC’s starters played more than 10 plays.
  10. This is where I take issue with some of your posts. You are accusing Charlestown of cheating in a flippant post, and then you backtrack.
  11. Right off the top of my head I cited statistics relating kids from two parent households which you refuted with your own experience. I obviously can’t quote, prior to the last crash, so you have plausible deniability....
  12. Returning QB who could sling it a little as a frosh, seems to make sense to me.
  13. http://www.ihsaa.org/LinkClick.aspx?fileticket=Ksqxsc51QrQ%3d&portalid=0 Specifically: IV. Players No athlete should be on the field for more than fifteen (15) consecutive plays without a 10- minute rest period. No player shall participate in any more than 48 total plays. Only those players who have participated in five days of full contact practice shall be allowed to participate in this scrimmage. Players must have full eligibility as transfer students to participate. Students with limited eligibility are not permitted to participate.
  14. I saw it in mid-June, it was all still under construction. I would guess it's completed by now. What I saw looked awesome. I believe there is still some renovation planned at their Baseball diamond as well.
  15. Just noticed, Mitchell opens at Edgewood. After getting new red turf last year, Edgewood had another construction project over the summer. New home and visitors locker facilities. I can't recall whether they had already done a bleacher upgrade or if it was in the works. I know they've flipped home and away stands, so the visitors will now have to face the sun in the early season games. As an added bonus they have also added officials dressing in the new building, so we no longer have the long walk across the parking lot. Edgewood has made some massive facility upgrades the last two years, it looks awesome.
  16. My experience has been it's a great opportunity to explain new rules, talk to players to explain things, etc. That being said we had a coach get rather upset with us that we would not allow his "blind" player to wear and tinted visor. The best part was after he took his helmet off, he also had sunglasses on.
  17. I ain’t going to lie, I follow Arizona ANTIFA on FB, it’s obviously a parody account, but it’s funny as hell.
  18. This is not allowed per scrimmage rules.
  19. Apparently Future Boy is the only person that uses his phone. posted via iPhone.
