I never noticed this the first time, four man crew.....in Ohio? Just a thought, those cars driving by in the background......no one in any of those vehicles gives a rip about this game. Perspective!

Hoosier Hills Conference

BNL @ Seymour Jeff @ FC Madison @ JC East @ NA Anything? Anyone? -
I do the odd Friday/Saturday V weekends. I'm not a fan, I have one coming up in a couple of weeks. One of the things I LOVE about playing V on Fridays and JV/Frosh games on Saturdays and the odd 7th/8th on Tuesdays, is I have a normal life thru the week. Versus back in the day when you had V on Friday, youth on Saturday/Sunday JV on Monday, 7/8 on Tuesday/Wednesday and frosh on Thursday. I feel like I'm more rested and my patience isn't nearly as short as the year wears on. Granted I take a pass on a lot of games today that years ago I worked. I'm not sure I'd be in on working V games on Thursday at all. And I know I wouldn't be working every Saturday either, I'm not sure I can afford it!

A blindside block is against an opponent other than the ball carrier who does not see the blocker coming.

The day before game day and the HHC thread has once again turned into a conference realignment thread. No wonder the HHC is known as a BB conference. No talk of games with conference ramifications: BNL@Seymour Probably the biggest game in the conference this week. Is Seymour for real? How does BNL rebound after last week? Jeff@FC Jeff lit it up against NA, can they out athlete FC? Can FC outscore them if it comes down to a shootout? Madison@JC Arguably the 7th place game, but should be a good game with two on paper evenly matched teams. East@NA Does the bus breakdown on the way to NA? Does NA's youngsters start to become upper classmen? This conference realignment crap is soooo played. If Madison and JC were going to leave, they would have done so already. -

Jeff needs one, they're battling BNL for the worst fields in southern Indiana. -

The elephant In the room
Impartial_Observer replied to Rodney's topic in The Indiana High School Football Forum
I busted my butt to earn four letters in high school. And slept thur most of the school part to graduate in four years. Fortunately in one of my better decisions, I never purchased a letter jacket. I wish I was that smart with a class ring. -

Twitter is a publicly traded company. (NYSE) TWTR. So depending on your investment strategy you may indeed own a piece of Twitter. -

I was told a year ago it was in the works at Mitchell. I was told 2-3 year timeline at that time. -

Does anyone know moving forward with this new conference format, will there be specific weeks for conference and non-conference games? -
EIAC Week 5
Impartial_Observer replied to StinkTownClown's topic in The Indiana High School Football Forum
With the new HHC schedule, CE now has three non-conference games. Week 2 will be CN. I would assume week 3 moving forward will be an HHC game. The Pick Central game was a one year deal. I know non-conference games will be weeks 1 and 2, not sure on the third. -

Bartholomew County Schools has an awesome program for not only industrial arts, but multiple pathways. You can actually graduate with associate degrees. http://www.bcsc.k12.in.us/domain/1455 My brother's brother in law teaches the building trades class. Aside from houses, they have built multiple school facilities. Press boxes, concession stands/bath rooms at sports venues, students not only get a glimpse of building houses, but they also get hands on in the commercial world. There are nursing programs, cosmetology programs, it's a tremendous program. In my three years of "wood shop" in high school, I literally did not produce a single project. I did however do projects for the teacher, I roofed the dugouts on the baseball diamond, painted the windows for the building trades house, one included building the Dean's son's Pinewood Derby car. Not sure the Dean understood the point of Pinewood Derby, but whatever. My senior year I was in building trades and participate in building a house. I had Mr Thomas all four years, one of the best teachers I ever had. -

I had to do some digging to find this thread Saturday, but I found the URL and reported our game last Friday. I now have it bookmarked, I still don't understand why this can't be added to myihsaa.net? -
I have long contended it will take a visionary to transform our current system. Amazon also comes to mind with regards to changing the game with their acquisition of pharma companies and dabbling in insurance. This may not be the answer, but it's a step in the right direction while all the also rans are clamoring for Medi-Care for all.
