  1. What a great day for our state!

  3. My wife and I also disagree on a few things when watching a game. The appropriate volume level being one of a few LOL.

  5. You really seriously believe that? That no one will play if Marion County doesn't play part? I can tell you with 100% certainty that the rest of the state can and will play without Marion County. The only way it doesn't happen is if the IHSAA does a 180 on it's stance about leaving it up to the school jurisdictions to determine if they want to play or not. Actually it might be refreshing to have the Mega schools out of the way for a season LOL.
  6. That’s a great question. It would be a bit hypocritical if they allowed it.
  7. There is absolutely no reason we will have a partial season unless someone gets their panties in a wad over rudimentary case counts. That said Marion county might not play ...but who needs Marion county anyway LMAO.
  8. Well if we could see Covid-19 moving in from the West and settling over the field on a balmy July evening....we might stop play and go in the dugout. Think about what you just said.
  9. You can rest assured it has nothing to do with player safety.

  11. I know dozens of kids who have had COVID-19. Not a single hospitalization. Yet the folks preaching for Spring Football say it's to protect the kids??
  12. My freshman has a greater chance of being hurt driving to a game than from anything related to COVID-19. Those are simply the non-political non-biased facts.
  13. You might find it interesting that I align with you more than you might think in terms of politics. But you see, folks like you are a big part of the problem with why we are where we are today. I don't judge the content of my friends or associates character or worthiness based on their political affiliation, much less who they will vote for this election cycle. What makes high school football great is how kids from all different backgrounds come together for a common purpose. A LOT of the adults don't get that anymore. It's why we can't apply a simple set of common sense protocols as a society. I happen to be educated pretty far beyond my intellect and I believe firmly we should be in school in Indiana in the fall (there could be a couple of exceptions), and we should be playing fall sports.
  14. If you have an IPhone just go to settings-safari-clear history and website data. Then you will get 5 more stories. Clears your “cookies”.
  15. The go out (almost all asymptomatic), they come back in after quarantine, protocols work. Just like they do at our Toyota plant with 7,000 employees. Rudimentary case counts are going to go up in Indiana...we are nowhere near our peak. With basic protocols, it can be managed....just like the factories. Really the only places that I have any concern are Marion and Lake counties. In fact, I believe it's completely possible Marion will cancel most in person school and football in 3 weeks. Giving the rest of the state almost no time to reschedule and minimizing transfers to other schools. The rest of the state will play without them.
  16. Chill out....the number probably isn't right....but it's funny especially if you are a South Park fan!

  21. Is the Marion County Health Department just delaying what they think is inevitable so kids won't have time to transfer someplace else for sports?
  22. College kids donate plasma all the time for extra cash. Just need permission from a legal guardian for the under 18 crowd is my guess.
