  1. Ahhh…now the psychologist… 🤨😆
  2. IU never recovered after the poor passing decision and interception in the red zone followed by the 98 yd TD run in the first quarter. Congrats Irish and Irish fans!! Go get the Dawgs!
  3. Temp…ultimate
  4. Forgot about Mother Bears. Great pizza. Go to the one in the town, not the one out on the interstate for the best vibe. I like the wings at BuffaLouie’s…solid overall menu.
  5. That’s rough. Mullets are probably dead give away of OSU fans as well.
  6. No…you are right. Would never replace Hoosiers. They remained Hoosiers in the 60’s with the Bison mascot. Their Army ROTC program today are called the Bison. If going to Btown and want to hit some pubs for game watching, suggest Nicks English Hut, Yogi’s, Upstairs Pub, Buffalalouie’s, Brothers, The Tap and CrazyHorse. Nick’s, Upstairs, Buffa all on Kirkwood or close. Yogi’s, Brothers, CrazyHorse, and The Tap on the downtown square area. All within walking distance.
  7. Picked up some nice IU gear at a couple of Rally House Indy area locations. Nice selections. Even had some Michigan and Ohio State gear. Picked up some as well. Perfect for wiping my a$$.
  8. The Bison was Indiana’s mascot in the 60’s. Currently a push to bring it back. Originates from the Indiana state seal. If you’ve ever been in Nick’s English Hut on Kirkwood, you will see the old mascot displayed through the pub. I posted some historical photos of the Bison mascot on the Indiana football thread.
  9. Undaunted….
  10. Never said that…of course you’re entitled to your thoughts. Just think it’s irrelevant whether or not you or anyone on this forum ACCEPTS their decision as to who they believe is worthy. Just following your suit and rendering an opinion.
  11. We’ll, if it’s that obvious, why ask the question in the first place? Do you really think people giving this award care whether or not YOU accept it?
  12. 💯
  13. Not saying you are incorrect with the prediction, but this did have some special cause. The Marshall Coach resigned to take another job after winning the conference…that decision before their bowl game resulted in 25 players jumping in the portal immediately…guessing many players upset. Not saying it’s right…but don’t think that happens if coach doesnt take a new gig or at least not until announcing until after their bowl game bowl game.
  14. Perhaps you can ask your question to the Lilly Foundation. My guess is that their response would indicate he earned it.
  15. You are being very nice referring to Taylor’s utter and complete unprofessional brainfart as a fumble… Glad he got a huge raise….
  16. Today, he’s currently 12 for 29, avg 4.1 yds per completion and has 2 interceptions…yea, he gets a chunk of the blame
  17. Saw schedule and noticed IU not playing UM. Perhaps things are looking up for Michigan. Will things return to “normal” next year? I know that’s your wish. Thanks for proving my point about the new concern by bloodblood fans.
  18. Navy dominated Army in every way…controlled both lines of scrimmages. Not sure if Army’s extra game needed to win the AAC played a factor, but they will not make excuses. Given Navy has executed the fake punt near midfield in previous games against Army, not sure how they again fell asleep. Snapping the ball directly to a lineman in the second tier…looked like the fake punt Cignetti called during the recent Purdue game. Army was 11-1, ranked and won the AAC in their first year in the conference. None of that matters…they lost to Navy. Congrats to the Midshipmen.
  19. He’s changed the culture at a number of programs and he realizes what has to be done to wake up a sleeping fanbase. Of course bloodblood fans like Temp are uncomfortable about Cignetti and IU. They weren’t counting on a new player at the table, and what was once a gimme win now has to be earned. The biggest of programs weren’t hoping for more competition.
  20. I'd think he might debate that one. He took James Madison (a perennial FCS doormat) built their program and took them to the FCS championship game. He then took the same program from FCS to FBS and made them a share of the conference title in their first season at that level. I won't even get into what he did at the Div 2 level and how he turned around FCS Elon. I know its hard for you to get your brain around the fact that coaching can begin before FBS.
  21. Work on your reading… Not flexing at all. Media made those wins and schedule negative about IU. Just saying blue bloods would not get that level of beat down for beating those teams. Media ignored how IU and OSU each played Nebraska. They were forced to give IU a little more credit for the Michigan win AFTER they beat OSU.
