  1. for both running and passing.....
  2. ESPN reported 3 years....not sure if accurate. Did indicate he was SEC co-freshman of the year in 2020...and I believe everyone got a free year for 2020 with Covid. From Dayton, so not that far from Btown. https://www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/id/33007624/connor-bazelak-commits-indiana-hoosiers-college-football-transfer-portal
  3. I am not sure a stop gap....he has 3 years of eligibility I believe. He was Missouri's number 1 guy last year with some solid stats in the SEC.
  4. I think you are right....I like it.... Could dive back into their USFL days and pull out that nickname!! Federals!! Have to celebrate former Indiana State football star Eric Robinson....played for the Federals, making the USFL All Star Team https://www.washingtonpost.com/archive/sports/1983/07/28/federals-robinson-makes-all-star-team/36f952b0-27ea-47f7-9fa2-e1b05ffe125b/
  5. No doubt!! He is one exceptional first ballot HOF player. One of the best. Hope he stays in GB....just won't seem right if he doesn't
  6. ...and he looks like he rides in train boxcars for a living......
  7. Maybe just join the Nationals and use their name....make it simple for the DC faithful. Has to be better than the Wizards. Wasn't it the Nationals that always got pummeled by the Harlem Globetrotters?
  8. Little guy still has a chance with 3 at larges.....Cincy would have been an at large this year. Run the table impressively in the Mountain West and earn an at large. Major independents better find a conference home
  9. I agree....but I would just go 5 power 5 conference champs 3 at large
  10. I didn't realize until I read about his passing, that he had a son, Max Starks, that was a 10 year NFL offensive lineman, that won 2 Super Bowls with the Steelers. https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2022/01/05/former-bengals-star-ross-browner-dies-from-complications-of-covid-at-67/
  11. Glad to see the Cleveland Guardians (formerly Indians) worked through their lawsuit from claiming a name already in use by a Cleveland group. Nice job doing your homework fellas...... https://www.espn.com/mlb/story/_/id/32643793/cleveland-guardians-settle-lawsuit-local-roller-derby-team-rights-name Guardians.....LOL
  12. May not look as good when breaking it down to an hourly rate. During the season, I know most programs are 7 days/week...... I would expect Hebert to be up there with Carmel....what is the highest paid for a MIC coach and source? Thanks....
  13. Sorry for the hijack….great game, great season, great career Russ!!!

I don't believe BA has that type of reputation. He's always been known as a player's coach. He probably deserves credit for giving AB a chance in the first place. My guess is that he did partly because of their relationship going back to their Steeler days.
  15. I hope you are right....on paper, they should take the Jags, although they only beat them by 6 points at home this season. I don't believe the Colts have won at Jacksonville since 2014. (check me on that one) I hope they are ready to play Sunday.
  16. Spot on with your assessment of OK State. This was the best Cowboy team in the Gundy era. They were 2, 4th down stops with less than a yd (including one on the goal line in the BIG 12 championship game) from running the table. ND played an outstanding football team. Don't forget the Cowboys had Indpls Chatard's Danny Godlevske starting at C the entire season until he broke his right foot the game prior to the Big 12 championship. Great career Danny! Get healthy and get that shot to play on Sundays!!
  17. Oh...so you are just going straight 247 numbers regardless of their actual on-field play and accolades? Gotcha..... I thought you might have included some subjective criteria to include their actual on field performance. Not disagreeing..just better understanding the criteria you used.
  18. No Russ Yeast from CG? 4 Star recruit. Had a nice career at Louisville and now Kansas State. (2nd team All Big 12 conference) https://247sports.com/Player/Russ-Yeast-46877/ Had a heck of a senior year for the Trojans. Indiana Gatorade Player of the Year. https://247sports.com/college/louisville/Article/Russ-Yeast-Gatorade-Player-of-the-Year-49752184/
  19. I think the Colts are going to look back at this season, and note the 3-4 games that they should have won....and failure to execute will being their Achilles heel. Even if they clinch a playoff spot this week, they could have been in a far better position/seed.
  20. Stalking you? LOL! I think you are pretty safe...all good. Nothing against you. I actually enjoy reading most of your posts.
  21. Guess you think you think you know me. I don’t know you. I think that’s a good thing.
  22. Hey Bob...there are photos of another Tennessee player picking up the ball carrier and trying to pull him into the end zone on that same 4th down play at the goal line. Is that legal today? I remember the infamous ND USC game with Leinart (I believe) pushing Bush to the end zone. Can you offer your thoughts on this type of play being allowed?
  23. Perhaps...but his challenge was with Indianapolis Colts players that chose to not be vaccinated. I believe this is a Colts thread. Are you a moderator?
  24. Vaccinated people, for the most part, are safe. At least for now, until we fully understand long-term effects of the vaccines. While we have learned the vaccines do not prevent incidence, they seem with the current variants to prevent/reduce significantly mortality. So you and those that vaccinate now are safe....for the current time. Why do you care if a member of the Colts (who are already at lower risk given their age, physical shape, controlled exposure, etc. ) do not choose to vaccinate? As we know, all can spread the virus, and its my educated guess that more precautions are taken with Wentz, Leonard, Nelson, etc. than the average Joe. Far more precautions. Fauci and Biden told us if we a achieved 70% vaccination rate, we will obtain herd immunity. There are now states above 70% and we know that herd immunity has not occurred at this %. You didn't answer my question about demanding influenza vaccines for all. Is 60K annual deaths acceptable risk? The moral question is an interesting one....its always interesting when one type of death is acceptable, when another is not.
