Because those "coaches" think it's more important to win some rec league game than get the kids prepared for Jr High/High School. Our Head Coach is directly involved with our youth program. We are also told that wins/losses don't matter at the youth level. The main objective for the youth coaches is to keep the kids coming back and make sure the kids get on the field. If you win at the youth level and your high school isn't successful, are you really benefitting the program or just your ego?

Both are 2A schools. I think LCC will win this one.

LCC will have a running clock in the 2nd half. It's a shame that the 4 best teams in that Sectional were all in the top half of the bracket. The draw is what it is though.

I have seen this posted too... I didn't see Geske (#14) take his helmet off until after the play... And again, the officials made the wrong call... Because they removed #14 for the play (after the incorrect penalty was called and gave Brebeuf the opportunity to replay 4th down).

LCC, running clock in the 2nd half. The sectional championship was played last Friday. I believe that LCC was pretty close to 50-50 in the run/pass yardage category against Webo.

I wasn't at the game, but watched it online. Each team gets 1 TO in OT. Danville used theirs on their offensive series. Brebeuf used theirs before their "1st" 4th down play.

That younger/Sophomore QB started 4 or 5 games last year (as a freshman) when the starter got hurt. He's probably a better overall athlete (was playing in the slot prior to the injury to the starter). Scrafton is a big (6'5")/athletic target. Fulwider is pretty tall (6'2")/athletic as well. Vu/Wooten are both big backs and move pretty well. Will be interesting to see how Danville's D handles the Brebeuf air game.
