Who's gonna be good. TW should be solid. Indian Creek returns 8-9 starters on both sides of the ball. Speedway and Beech Grove were young. Triton Central is always solid! Monrovia is always tough to deal with. What do Greenwood and Shelbyville have coming back?

Not really a sleeper but a school with no real tournament success is Riverton Parke. They had South Putnam on the ropes last year in the sectional. They return several key starters on both sides of the ball and South Putnam is 2A now. Look for RP to make a run.

Danville needs to apply for membership to the Circle City Conference. Roncalli, Chatard, Guerin, Brebeuf. TRI-WEST should do the same once our enrollment reaches 800-1000. These schools will anyways be in the way come tournament time. We should both jump into the fight.

Riverton Parke runs old school double tight smash mouth offense. Dominated South Putnam in first half 21-7 before falling in OT.

Great game! Cascade had them on the ropes early but Gibson Southern battled back. This was a very physical football game. Gibson QB was solid, but those INTs hurt them a bunch. Curious where #4 Hobson was for Cascade? He’s their best DB in my opinion. Farmer is a pest. Great all around ball player. Good luck next week, beat Luers!

They literally built I-69 so the Pocket region could feel like it’s part of the state. Yet, Gibson Southern must still take all gravel roads to drive north.

This was a great game. Tail of 2 halves and that opening kickoff of 2nd half was big. South dominated the 3rd quarter. Being a Tri-West guy, I wanted to go see old school football…no turf, no fences, no BS. What I saw was 2 small communities going at it for 4 quarters. RP had the ball for what seemed like forever in the 4th quarter. Not many places let fans inside the track, but this should be done at all schools. Congrats to both schools. Good luck next week and next year. I expect RP to be solid again.

Cascade won’t be challenged the rest of the regular season. Webo might give them some resistance but not much. They should have stayed in the ICC and would now be it the Indiana Legends with Tri-West Monrovia Speedway Etc. The Monon will not challenge them in football.

When is it? Who is going?

Speedway has lost a couple significant players. Not sure how official the transfers are, but they aren’t on the Max Preps roster and X profiles have been changed.

Have seen on other sites that Henryville is adding football. Can anyone elaborate? Looks like they will play JV and jr high schedules next year.

If Northview were looking for an upgrade this would be a good move. Not really sure who else fits. Maybe Tri-West if we grow a bunch in next 10 years. I don't see this conference lasting long. Either the Terre Haute schools or Lafayette schools will get tired of the travel. Danville, Lebanon, and Tri-West should have joined the Circle City conference.

Wait til you get a piece of Cascade! They should make a deep run in 3A. Be sure that is Homecoming.

Good move by both schools. Yes, travel on the south side of Indy sucks, but the schools in their current conferences are out growing them. Plainfield, Whiteland, Franklin, and Decatur are all headed for 6A. Mt Vernon, New Pal, Greenfield are all headed toward 5A. Looking forward to playing some new teams. Now we just need to get Monrovia and Shelbyville some turf.

Cloverdale deserves a pass. They’ve been on the other end of multiple beat downs for the last 40 years.

If this play is legal, then any tapped or touched ball by punting team into returning team is legal. Imagine if this was a rolling punt anywhere on the field. This was a blown call.

They both voted no to TW joining the ICC. So highly doubtful. The only 2 schools that make sense from a size and location stand point are Edgewood and Owen Valley. Not really wanting that, there’s just not many options. Webo and Cascade would be good, but they just separated from Sagamore and ICC.

This conference needs 2 more schools. Which ones make the most sense? I have been told both Lebanon and Danville are not in the plans.

Nobody wants the Terre Haute schools. Northview would be a better option. The addition of the Terre Haute schools and/or Jeff would probably force TW to look elsewhere.

I’ve seen Marion on film. We (TW) will be better competition than them for sure. And most likely better than Tech, Anderson and Richmond.

Expanded Indiana Crossroads will be the final spot for TW. 10 team league split into big/small school. Danville and Lebanon will double the size of TW in the next 10 years. Danville will eventually end up in the Mid-State. Lebanon, who knows.
