  1. Some rumblings out there of a possible ND-Bama week 1 matchup.... I’d personally love it if it happens
  2. HahaHa, thanks for the laugh. I’ll pass there, champ.
  3. I’m sure science or something similar.... blah blah blah with him. Don’t bite
  4. Dumb question but how does 8 man football work? How is each position is utilized, like is it less skill player or less linemen?
  5. Yes this is good news, and I heard notre dame only had 1 positive case from their tests. Much better than the numbers I read from from Clemson, Alabama, etc.
  6. So wait, you have to nominate yourself to get into the Indiana HOF?
  7. Yea that’s why I was asking. Not sure what all they have coming back. I’m also anxious to see how highland and KV are in year 3 with current head coaches
  8. Fun game to watch, neither defense could stop the other offense... take those fumbles away and that would have probably been a wild finish! Anxious to see how Valpo/mville game goes, Hobart/Andrean could be a doozy too. Will Lowell be a player this year?
  9. So what does portage do, if they can’t get Roy? Feel bad for the portage players
  10. Big year of transfers in the DAC... heard yesterday, that supposedly, a qb from Virginia has enrolled at crown Point. I can’t confirm this but that is what a CP player told me, anyone else hear this?
  11. What’s not to like? I know he’s young but played the position, spent time around Phillip Rivers (who has had a long productive career), and his dad was a head high school coach I believe. Football is in him, so hopefully he’s able to reach and get through to his players to put them in great positions to succeed.
  12. I absolutely love everything chase claypool brought to the field as a receiver, blocker, and special teams player. He is gonna be missed for sure. But I can’t wait to see some of these young offensive skill guys.... like Braden Lenzy and that speed he has. Kevin Austin has a lot of talent if he can get on the field and it sounds like he’s done everything in the classroom to get back on the field. With a veteran offensive line they should be good up front and with a senior qb like book it could be a potent offense if the young guys can step up. Anxious to see the freshman skill guys, RB Tyree who’s a blazer, TE Mayer, and WR Johnson. I think Tommy tremble could be a breakout candidate at TE too. But then again I always think this year is the year so take my opinion with a grain of salt haha
  13. Was hoping he’d end up at notre dame but congrats to him on the pledge to Minnesota, who sure is putting together a strong class!
  14. That Valpo/Merrillville game is gonna be a good one
  15. I thought I'd read on the SB Tribune or Twitter a few weeks ago that the HC job was back open. The top choice (or maybe it was the top 2 or 3 choices) could not come to a contract agreement. I could be wrong, let me see if I can find that article....
  16. Ummm notre dame has beaten LSU last two times they’ve played.... but as a notre dame fan I understand what you’re saying. They need to win a big game. Period. Until then, people can and have the right to say whatever or just say Michigan (I still don’t know what happened there). As far as the conference exclusion, I kind of like it so they can keep playing whomever they choose and still keep the National brand of playing rivals and across the country and on NBC. But I’ve been waiting since Lou holtz was on the sideline for them to win a big one.
  17. From what I've read ND looked at him but never offered. The Irish have really turned around their DL/DE recruiting the last few years so there is a lot of depth, but they do rotate and play a lot of bodies. Good get for the Hoosiers, I've heard this kid is a stud!
  18. Out of curiosity how many teams played football in 1973, and how many teams made the playoffs? It’s a bit before my time but I always heard how good those Marian teams were. I think John Ferretti (spelling way off) played on one of those teams and was my vice principal growing up.
  19. Yes, he was a state qualifier at HWT this year and possibly a SQ last year as well
  20. that is an amazing view! Is the school to the left of the football field?
