To those who think Warren would be a win for your squad: Warren has a fantastic defense. They have one of the best running backs in the state. They have two QBs who share time and can sling it, too. WC is only getting better. Unless you're one of the top 6A teams or maybe one or two in 5A, you're not beating them.

Looks like the owner of channel 4 did not acquire the Kokomo license until 1987 which was after Sarkes Tarzian sold WTTV. Just clarifying.

Channel 4's coverage area is at this link. I believe Sarkes Tarzian also owned WTTK out of Kokomo, IN which simulcasted 4's signal. Tarzian's company still owns a handful of other Indiana radio stations. Broadcast licenses don't work like that. You'd have to find open channels in each area and apply for licenses in those spaces. Channel 50, for example, would only service one area. You couldn't split up the digital channels to show in different areas of the state. So, for example, Channel 13 in Indianapolis has digital channels, but they only show in channel 13's footprint. With the internet and the amount of people doing podcasts and things, the cost of equipment, etc., you really wouldn't need Elon's money to do this sort of thing any more.

He's starting to get it...which is nice. They seem to have settled on him. The sophomore still getting a little time, but they're finding other positions for him as an athlete.

Wasn't pretty. Pretty much the same script as many BD/CG games lately. Close first half only to see BD get throttled in the second. BD has to find some answers on D. We've had good gates in boys basketball at BD in the last few years...especially for MIC games.

Haven't these decisions on practice and what's safe been delegated to the person with the wet bulb thermometer?

Pike has an injured QB now as well. Hope he's ok. You're right about BD's schedule. They should get NC Week 9, but they have a brutal trek coming up. @ Center Grove Warren @ Lawrence North Carmel @ Lawrence Central North Central Coach Mann remains positive. Toughest thing will be keeping everyone on the same page. Future appears bright though with lots of youngsters on the roster.

Man, it's good to be back. I can't wait to be insulted by @temptation for the first time this season.

Ben Davis 2023 was one of the best state championship teams ever to come out of BD. Offensively, they were just behind the 1991 and 2017 teams. Defensively, they weren't the juggernaut that some of the Dullaghan teams were, but they were certainly solid. That team excelled with senior leadership. Kevin Vanderbush listed those student leaders as some of the best he'd had in his tenure at BD. All that said, BD still barely made it to state with last-second stunners against Brownsburg, Cathedral and Center Grove. They were all sensational that year.

Ben Davis at #5 feels too high. Glad to be wrong. I just know the Giants and the staff have a lot of work to do. Tough sledding for the other three teams in the Sectional with Brownsburg, too.

The key will be enforcement. There are still rules and regulations that are in effect in the high school world that are not with the transfer portal. You get one transfer. You cannot use undue influence. There cannot be a "past link". Past the first transfer, subsequent transfers are handled like they are currently. But, the key will be enforcement.
