  1. Last year I voted for OL from Avon, I do my homework, My school is part of Region 4, Lafayette area Hansen could very well win, if he does, I will not bat an eye. Your 1st attempt of parallelism of Indiana 2a and 4a Catholic teams vs 2 programs who are in top 5, and most consider the vaunted BLUE BLOODs of College Football, is laughable at best, however highly entertaining., Like you really really believe 1 game's stats in a college game where both teams get WHOEVER they want in the linage of 4 and 5 star guys vs these 2 teams offensive lines in Indiana, I mean, that is some good throw it against the wall stuff. Well done, got a true giggle
  2. sorry, not on everyday as you know, so appreciate a good sportsmanship bet to paid, that is a good thing, maybe next year you lose a bet and pay double then?? 🙂 Last one of these that I knew went down, the winning community member who got booster paid, paid it forward to another community member, however, you could still be busy doing your online victory dances 🤣
  3. Thanks again for all our boosters Hope some of our more visible and daily users can find it within themselves to chip in during this season of giving and good will Cheers
  4. You could run for 1500 yards behind the Royals line, you understanding that good Defensive Cord do not stack that many in the box because the scheme Roncalli runs would shred it, but you probably do not know what their schemes are so you just say something like that. How many full games did you watch of Roncalli? Andrean? just curious
  5. Im looking for a receipt for 2022 booster tag for GID, still looking
  6. good stuff, I would buy a DOUBLE Thanks Coach Durham!! Job well done in keeping the tradition alive
  7. Also, there was a MAJOR reason that Bowen didn't get a lot of carries til late in the year, but I'm sure folks don't want to hear about it. Schedule, other than East Chicago and the 2a Tournament, Andrean had a pretty good schedule, maybe not as good as Roncalli, but not horrific by any means.
  8. Luke Hansen is an incredible High School football player however, it will be hard to unseat Bowen
  9. correct, thanks for correction, Kokomo, no idea why I typed or had LaPorte on my mind. cheers
  10. if you caught any of the post game presser, Brohm could barely speak when O'Connell question came up Pretty Mentally tough young man
  11. Your focus should be on the Boilermakers 🤣
  12. Bring em on !!!! See ya in Indy
  13. Fields down, Back Up hurt in warmups, COME ON NATE PETERSON!! haha, gladly take this L and move on
  14. I had no problem waiting in line for about 7 mins to get both days tickets, go back in check thru the line and make it for intros, that was about 20 mins to kick off on Friday morning
  15. heading into this season so last Spring but Covid jacked things up per usual, so we should be back on even ground moving forward with this new 2 year cycle
  16. MD OL and DL was MUCH the best Friday morning. They played inspired and Andrean could not get their QB play going. week 1
  17. BOMBERS going to have their hands full
  18. Cycle started over this year: (not going to do 1 point sectional champ) 6a, doesn't matter 5a: Valpo earned 4, Whiteland 3, Castle 2, Snider 2, 4a: East Central 4, NP 3, LaPorte 2, Roncalli 2, 3a: Chatard 4, Lawrenceburg 3, WL 2 Monrovia 2 2a: Mater Dei 4, Andrean 3, Linton 2, Luers 2, 1a: Lutheran 4, AC 3, Judson 2, without looking on Harrell's I think that is it So yes, Andrean and Mater Dei could conceivably be in 3 straight 2a state games Lutheran COULD win 3 straight titles before moving up
  19. what an electric night in Lucas Oil. My dad is a Valpo grad 1969, so we took in the weekend down in Indy with that being the final event, he had a blast and a tremendous game both sides Backfield for Valpo is troublesome both are coming back I think Just think if the Clark family didn't move from Rensselaer mid 90s!!! Mr. Don Clark was a coach and middle school teacher, then moved north to Valpo when Don Clark JR went on to his D1 offer at Air Force, now Don Jr son, Justin is BMOC and making plays!!! Good Stuff
  20. we have had the crew that worked the 5a game both in regular season and playoffs, they are one of if not the best in northern Indiana for sure. Tough game to officiate, but they were spot on with their calls and there was A LOT of them. Loved Whiteland's crowd, didn't see Carrolls, East Central very IMPRESSIVE, which I knew they were after watching battle and win over Roncalli week before, which was a slight bummer personally for me as was rooting for the Hanson kid to show out on the big stage for Roncalli Mater Dei was very much playing with revenge in their minds, physically dominated the line of scrimmage. Did NOT like the earlier starts
  21. Win out and get some help and SOMEHOW, Boilers are in INDY, mercy
  22. When you have an experience team like Judson has and have great confidence in your maturity of your team, you as a staff can "work" on future opponents and schemes for game you can expect to play down the road. We did this in 2014, played LCC, week 8, learned a lot from that game, and starting that next day Saturday and every practice forward we worked the "LCC Script" in preparations for the showdown in week 14, and sure enough we got there, sprinted to 14-0 1st Q lead, that does not happen if we do not put in all that extra time, older and mature teams/staffs can do this quite seamlessly, @Bobref I believe its a BELL, which going back 13 weeks ago, has since been given a good workout Great small town community matchup here, Im rooting for the JAYS, Region 4 squad with a friend of mine at the helm. Hope they get it done, but as always a this time a year never is easy. Leave you with this: " Big time players, make big time plays, in big time games".
  23. Chatard has seen their tempo before, they have seen these concepts before, both outstanding programs and coaching staffs. In the end, it will be about who's Jimmy's and Joe's perform better. sidenote, one constant over the MANY years of playing WL is their Offensive Line, shout out to former Boilermaker, Kelly Kitchel and the job he does each and every year
  24. new cycle started this year, so they earned 1 point this year.
