  1. Two outstanding programs. Both with tradition, legacy, outstanding athletes, and phenomenal coaching. Merrillville has just been rolling along this year, amassing an undefeated record, with very few close games. Then you have, Bishop Silas Chatard. Admittedly, that’s about as much as I know about them, other that they’re one of the state’s best 3A programs. Should be a close one, I’m going with the Pirates 27-24 as their speed will wear down the Trojans’ big uglies.
  2. Sounds like a great game. Props to everyone involved to make this game go at the last minute.
  3. Good stuff. I agree, whenever I’m at the Inferno I feel like a relic amid all the students. But there are some old fogies like me who really know their football and support their team through thick or thin. As I told @Coach Nowlin, was still time. How prophetic that was...
  4. The Devils and Niners should be epic, but Lowell has to lay-ups vs. Munster and Highland before that—they have to keep the intensity up.
  5. I did tell you RDP is back... Lowell played to win, KV played to not lose.
  6. So things are looking up... He is a good one—way to represent...
  7. My mother’s a Chatard alumna—as such do I get any perks?
  8. Great matchup! Merrillville better come ready to play...
  9. Lowell-Andrean prediction, @ Coach Nowlin?
  10. Now a final. In another Region game, the Chesterton-Portage contest was postponed, due to the fact that a car hit a pole near CHS which resulted in a power outage. How 2020 is that?
  11. So much for keeping it on the ground... Props to KV, though.
  12. Thanks, tough loss for the Raiders.
  13. I told you there was still time, o ye of little faith...
  14. unfortunately I’m not at the game. I had meetings all day and got home just awhile ago.
  15. There’s still time...
  16. Props to CG, but they probably should call off the dogs.
  17. Saturday games/meets could be a very good idea. I was just drawing on my own past experiences except that A) I never to Calculus in school and B) I have never been to MHS.
  18. My bad as I confused Roncalli for Ritter—some Catholic I am.
  19. As we all know, this is not a perfect science, we can scheme it up as much as want but the schools make the ultimate decisions. Lafayette Jeff and Richmond have probably been playing ball ever since Grandpa Gipper was tearing it up as a fullback on the A. J. Kent High football squad. I don’t think the ADs of the NCC want to walk off so quickly...
  20. Exactly. Just visualize yourself on the Chesterton swim team coming back from McCutcheon High School on a snowy Thursday night with a Calculus exam the next morning.
  21. Opts back in at a Purdue. 13 Defensive Coordinators screamed out in agony, and then were silenced as the Force is strong with #4.
  22. Great in the theory, but there’s the Time Zone issue...
