Lafayette Jeff and Richmond have probably been playing ball ever since Grandpa Gipper was tearing it up as a fullback on the A. J. Kent High football squad. I don’t think the ADs of the NCC want to walk off so quickly...

    Exactly. Just visualize yourself on the Chesterton swim team coming back from McCutcheon High School on a snowy Thursday night with a Calculus exam the next morning.

    Munster could very well be the potential 12th member, but are they happy in the NCC? Conferences are about much more than Football, I think it would be very strong in basketball and baseball as well as girls’ sports because apparently some Duneland schools are taking...

    You know, I was being a little silly (it does happen, kids), and am surprised it got this much traction! How about vertical as opposed to linear? Crown Point, Jeff, Harrison, Lake Central, McCutcheon, and Merrillville would comprise the South and Chesterton, LaPorte, Michigan City, Portage, and Valparaiso would be in the North.

    Should be a good game. When I went to SN, it was hard to compete, let alone beat KV in anything. Lowell has had their way with them, but something tells me Friday’s game could be epic.

    Why is there a need for a 12-member league. I think 8 is a better guideline.

    One. Hoosier Hills, but that would involve lots of travel, and the Midstate could possibly work. Or has that ship sailed?

    I don’t think Roncalli should be in a Brebeuf can go either way.

    The folks in Lafayette don’t like going to Terre Haute and I bet that goes the same for Bloomington and Columbus. Even Southport is a haul, especially for Harrison.

    I have lived in Lowell about 13 years. People here love their RDP, but safety comes first, they all know that. Nothing is in stone, anything can happpen.

    Should be a great game, but who has KV really beaten? A few 2A schools, Wheeler who is legitimately good. Lowell’s defense is really good, Mr. Carden will have his work cut out for him. RDP 27, Kougars with a K 8
