Rankings are great as long as I remember it's based on projections for the next level. I've seen 5'11 and 6'0 high school players make 6'4 and 6'5 P5 commits look silly.

I would rather regional all-star games expand. For example, the Wabash Valley Coaches Association hosts an all-star game. I will type slowly so maybe my point can be understood. Economic development= good. Publicly financed sports stadiums = bad economic policy I can see why apartments, retail/office space, and parking garages provide the perfect Trojan Horse to sneak in a bad idea like a stadium.

I should have clarified. As a taxpayer. I don't like the idea of paying 80% of the cost of any professional stadium - soccer or otherwise. This was not my opinion 12-15 years ago. But after examining numerous economic benefit studies, I do not think taxpayers should subsidize for-profit professional sports teams.

Neither. It is minor league (USL) soccer. My friends tell me Indianapolis is "next" for a major league soccer team. So it's the equivalent of the Indy Indians (AAA) in my opinion. I still disagree with the idea. In fairness, the stadium is only part of the development. The $1 Billion tag is the entire development, including apartments, retail/office space, and parking garages.

I would have thought the same about Decatur and Franklin Central. I could see Perry Meridian being in the mix for MIC consideration as well.

Not a bad guess - at least given Temp's vague clues. But the TH Schools (who could also fit the "package deal" clue) dropped out of the MIC some time ago because of travel. I can't imagine in an era of budget tightening that schools would want to fund 2 hour round trip bus rides.
