    Some of us forget that all games played count towards the playoffs in Ohio, even out of state games. The Irish have put a dent in the Lancers playoffs a couple of times in the past, and I'm hoping that continues tonight. It's always a dog fight when these two teams play. All four games were quite memorable for one reason or another.

    The old team bus will be warming up soon, and we old Irish fans will be heading to Cincy. I hope to see a lot of Irish fans tonight at LaSalle.

    1999 was the last time Cathedral played at LaSalle. It was the night Otis Shannon rushed for 489 yards, and of course I was there. One of my buddies decided to take his wife to watch the Tall Ships, on the Ohio River, at the last minute, and he missed the game. Old George didn't miss another Cathedral football game until he passed away a few years back. You just never know what your going to see!

    Yep! The only meaningful rankings are those from downtown at LOS on Thanksgiving weekend.

    Cathedral played St. X at Arlington last year and it was a classic!

    Thanks. It was construction city around Shelbyville. I hope it all gets taken care of soon. FYI, for Indianapolis west side residents, the Dandy Trail bridge over I74 reopened today. This is big news for us that have been inconvenienced since March.

    IMO, it's never easy winning in Cincinnati.😉 And I wish Cathedral continued playing St. X this season. It's only the 2nd year in more than 20 years that these two haven't met.

    IMO, Clemson wasn't a top 10 team, is not of 10 ten team and will not be a top 10 team this season.

    The step down at QB is going to take awhile to work itself out. Lawrence was exceptional.

    Physically Penix is alright. He seems to have some problems with selecting his receivers. His overall game just lacks something.

    IU really scuffling against the Hilltoppers. 23-21 early in the 3rd quarter. Penix is still not up to snuff.

    Pretty nice comeback for the Irish! I'm not sure whether I care too much about Coan's participation next week against Cincinnati. Pyne looked fine!😉

    I'm hoping that road construction is completed on I74. Does anyone have any information? I was over that way last month and it was slow going.

    Arlington field was in tip top shape tonight. Hat's off to work hard to keep it that way, especially Turf Dogs!

    I was told that Cincinnati St. X was looking for a game for tonight, and didn't find any. Evidently that's not the case as they played and beat Cincinnati tonight.

    Morton played hard but they didn't have the numbers nor the talent. The Pride of the Irish band paid tribute to Motown music at halftime. Smokey Robinson, the Temptations and the Supremes would have been proud! I felt bad for the Morton receiver, five yards behind Irish defenders, and on his way to a long TD, who then had the ball slip from his hands.
