Game time is 7PM and not 7:30PM as listed in the John Harrell website. The field should be fine with the all day rain in Indy today. Hopefully the grass field is the least worry that Morton encounters Friday night.

I was surprised that CN only had about 55 players on their roster. Maybe that's the reason for the JV situation, maybe not enough players for JV.

No, the JV did not play, as far as I can see. The Cathedral freshman did win against Columbus North 20-8.

IMHO, anytime Catholic schools play each other there's a sense of rivalry.

I've been to Columbus East many times and never had any issues with the lighting. Orange everywhere was a bit overboard, but the lights always seemed sufficient.

I feel bad for Michael Page. Sometimes it's just hard to catch a punt and he's had a tough time two weeks in a row now. It's evident he's sure handed because he's an outstanding pass receiver. I'm sure that will be addressed and it will no longer be a problem. I hope someone can post the freshman and jv scores here sometime soon.

We arrived late. My buddy still has a full time job so we wait for him. I've had friends down there and visited some very good establishments in the past.

Maybe they paid their utility bills on time back then.😉 If you weren't there tonight you shouldn't be questioning my opinion. Oh, imho.

I failed to mention that the Columbus North Bull Dog band put on a very impressive halftime performance. I wish the band and the football team the best the rest of the season. A lot of grit on the blue side tonight.

I was at a very dark Cathedral at Columbus North game. At least Arlington has decent lighting.😊

First of all this was the darkest playing field I've seen in my 66 years of watching Cathedral football. It had to be tough to see on the field. It was good to see the Irish running game get in gear. The Irish ran for more than 250 yards, and Seth Mencer must've had 150 of those yards. Also sophomore Hosia Smith gave the Irish a late boost running the ball and scoring his first varsity TD. Hats off to the OL for opening those holes.

It's time to warm up the team bus and head south. I hope to see a lot of Irish fans in the stands tonight.

I thought this would be a topic sometime later, but not too surprised it was brought up at all. There's nothing wrong with the Arlington facility and if there's not enough parking, try getting there early. I've not had any problem with handicap parking the the last three years the Irish have chosen to claim it as their "home."

Yeah, I meant at LaSalle. The Irish have played LaSalle at Broad Ripple, at LaSalle, at Nippert and at Arlington. All games have been classics.

We have a Hot Box close by on the west side of Indy. We may try one of the others if the traffic isn't too bad. Thanks for the tips!

I'd be interested to know why the Irish aren't playing St. X this season. The Irish have played St. X almost every year since the late '90's. I have attended every game of the series. The results are lopsided, somewhat, but most of the games were very competitive. I don't believe the Irish have played at LaSalle since 1999, when Otis Shannon rushed for 489 yards in a 34-24 Irish win. Looking forward to seeing that one if we can make it past the road construction on I74. We may have to hit the side roads. It's been sometime since the Irish played at Columbus North also.
