  1. Judson by 2-3 scores. Fully expect Judson in semistate versus Adams Central.
  2. Doesn’t matter if their oline plays as bad as it did last week… woof
  3. I'm fine with that. I would expect playing on turf would benefit LaVille more than Pioneer at this point.
  4. Any talk of this game being moved due to field conditions or will we be mudding it again this week?
  5. FB Robinson is out and DL/TE Derrick Legrand is questionable, but next man up.
  6. Winamac relied on playing a weak schedule to be where they were at. They ducked Judson the first go around and opted not to play when LaVille dropped. They need to get the MWC cellar dwellers off their schedule and beef it up. I hear the class of 2028 is looking promising for them though.
  7. Curious if LaVille wins if they elect to play on their home field next week if it gets thrashed in the recent weather.
  8. Controls and scoreboard are new, but the connection is digital, if there is not a direct line of site between controls and board it goes out. There is equipment that can be purchased to limit the disruption it just has not been purchased. I'm not going into details on here on his politics and should have refrained from the comment.
  9. Scoreboard is brand new last year and completely donated by the local bank. The superintendent is more interested in pushing his liberal agenda than taking care of the facilities we have. The school has been approached by the county community foundation (over 2 years ago I believe) about financially helping with bleacher replacement , but yet again the ball has been dropped and the can kicked down the road.
  10. I'd disagree with the statement that this year's Winamac team is battle tested. I think current year experience is more important that total career experience with how much things change from season to season. I just don't think Winamac has played any valid opponents this season to date. I think Winamac did luck out with Judson not playing last week. Yes Judson got to rest up, but missing a week of live action can make you rusty quick.
  11. Pioneer moved semistate games in 2017 and 2018 due to poor field conditions as well as press box space for the various media groups present for radio and online broadcasts. Pioneer's field is an embarrassment in the best of conditions let alone after downpours. The home bleachers are a safety hazard and if the scoreboard controls aren't positioned right it loses connection to the scoreboard and shuts it off in the middle of the game. Unfortunately, the admin doesn't care enough to enact any kind of change to the stadium. We are lucky to have a great relationship with Logansport and their athletic director Brian Strong. We will be playing at Logansport again tonight in our sectional semifinal game against Delphi. Logansport is a good midway point between both Pioneer and Delphi. It's just unfortunate that with Pioneer's history we don't even have the internal support to take care of our field to ensure player safety.
  12. I think it was directed more at the Winamac fan😂
  13. There’s only one Winamac fan on here and Judson won’t be on unless they win 😂 Judson will be pretty quiet again next week if Coach Lambert only gives Allen the ball 10 times again….
  14. Delphi (7-3) at Pioneer (8-2)- Panthers- Panthers have been playing well the last few weeks and if they come out like they did against Judson and Wabash they should win by 2-3 scores. Delphi will be ready to play and #54 and 45 for the run extremely hard. This game was just moved to Logansport high school due to expected poor field conditions at Pioneer. Bremen (7-3) at LaVille (7-2)- LaVille- I think LaVille's defense pushes them over the top.
  15. Congrats on a great season! You guys have to be excited for the future with as many young guys you played.
  16. Lewis Cass at Delphi- Cass- I think the hoosier will prep them more than Delphi's moribund schedule Wabash at Pioneer- Panthers- Pioneer has really hit their stride after figuring out the qb situation and getting everyone back. Bremen at Manchester- Bremen- Lions prove too much for Manchester LaVille at Rochester- LaVille- I think LaVille's defense keeps Rochester in check with the caveat that Laville's offense needs to score more than 10 points to win.
  17. Question for the Judson fans- Why did Allen only touch the ball 10 times against Pioneer and why isn't he playing fullback? When they play Winamac he better get at least 20 touches if they want to win. He was by far their best offensive weapon
  18. 3 Point Games Northwestern @ Benton Central Cass @ Twin Lakes Hamilton Heights @ Rensselaer Tipton @ Central Catholic Western @ West Lafayette Carroll @ Sheridan Seeger @ North Vermillion North Judson @ Pioneer Hamilton Southeastern @ Brownsburg Highland @ Kankakee Valley
  19. I personally could care less if private schools are in 1 or 2A. It goes by enrollment, get better and beat them or complain and keep losing. If your team goes in with the mindset that its unfair that they are playing a private school odds are they're going to lose. The thing that does perplex me if you are a team like Andrean or Luers and you only play 4,5 and 6A schools all regular season, why do you even want to be in the 2A tournament?
  20. Culver @ LaVille- Lancers- Lancer offense will need to eek out some points on the few possessions they get on the night. Culver doesn't do anything special, but they run their 6 play offense pretty well. Any body have any insight as to why they run the world's most boring offense? Knox @ Caston- The Knox High School Football Team- Caston is flat out bad. North Judson @ Pioneer- Panthers- Conference matchup of the week. I was pretty impressed with Judson after watching the LaVille game from last week. They are very physical up front and their backs run hard. Weather could be a factor this week that might limit their passing attack and make the mesh points tricky on their triple. If Pioneer can take care of the ball on offense, I like their chances. No matter who comes out on top I don't see it by more than 10 points. Triton @ Winamac- Winamac- Triton has the pieces to win this game but I think they're a year or 2 out. Unsure how good Winamac truly is as this point.
  21. Definitely surprised by last nights score after playing both teams over the last 2 weeks. I thought Triton would run all over Knox.
  22. I say after this season, all teams bump back to their enrollment class and success factor resets for the next cycle. I will say that my opinion doesn't count for much though 🙂
  23. I'd push for Glenn or Bremen. Maybe you could sway someone like Delphi or Lewis Cass over as well.
