Horrific injury. Just watched it at a slower speed. Just awful. Hope he can recover from that one.

Saw one of those Friday night. Kid went down about 10 yds. from where I was standing. My first thought was “His foot is not supposed to be pointing in that direction.”

Agreed.

On the sunny side of things this is good news for the Bears.  🙂

Justin Fields after doing nothing wrong per se on the W/L record will now take a seat to Russ and his contract

I thought they were paying Russ the minimum, since Denver still owed him a ton?

Interesting. Tomlin doesn't strike me as the type to allow a contract to determine who he plays. Wouldn't be surprised if the Steelers truly believe their offense is better with Wilson. Or they at least want to see how it looks.

Russell Wilson's contract situation is as follows:

2024

Wilson signed a one-year contract with the Pittsburgh Steelers for $1.21 million. The Steelers plan to re-sign him for a longer contract after the 2024 season.

2025

Wilson will count $32 million against the Steelers' salary cap.

2024 salary cap hit

The Broncos are responsible for most of Wilson's 2024 salary due to the $242.5 million contract they signed with him in 2022. The Broncos released Wilson on March 4, 2024, but still owe him $39 million for the 2024 season. However, the Broncos' contract with Wilson included offset language, which means that the Steelers' $1.21 million offer to Wilson reduces the amount the Broncos owe him. The Broncos will only owe Wilson $37.79 million for the 2024 season.

Dead money hit

The Broncos' release of Wilson resulted in an $85 million dead money hit over the next two seasons.

Wilson's contract with the Broncos included $124 million in guarantees, and the Broncos had already paid $85 million of it before releasing him.

Houston wore probably the most hideous NFL uniforms I have ever seen last night in the game against Detroit.  They deserved to lose to the Lions while wearing those abominations.

What does "CAP" mean in "muda voice"

The phrase “No cap” basically means, “No lie,” says Urban Dictionary, with “cap” meaning “lie.” “This meal is the best. No cap!” or “You weren't online last night — you're capping!” are two ways to use the phrase. Alternatively, if someone says, “That's cap” they're calling you out for a lie.
